I would love to be able to pre-order 1 or 2 of the Ego XL batteries- saves me having to haunt the forum & hope I check at the right moment when stock is announced. weary of trying to purchase goods after the buying frenzys...

Gotta say- I've fallen in love with my Ego (boy that sounds funny) and am most assuredly in line for the XL version!!! hopefully it will be available outside of a full kit & be compatible with the usb "speed charger" I already have...

I am using protected cr123's in mine. no problems-they work great. I got 2 of the batteries- 1 is a great fit, the other I have to "wiggle" into place but they both work beautifully once in.

I would be happy to "help you test" the 510 adapter... :D
