Yeah, let's move it to the Dietsmokes forum so he can edit it... :w00t:

Dietsmokes gave away our email addresses

I will never understand why anyone would order from this guy, after his reviews turned out to be advertisements for his future business. I guess all the old users who remember this have left at this point and he has won... :nah:

    Prodigy: Extra switches avaliable?

I haven't been around much... are the alternate switches available yet for owners?

    Prodigy: Extra switches avaliable?

When deciding between the resistor or non-resistor version of the Prodigy, having a second switch never occured to me... but now that I have the Prodigy (resistor version) and see how easy it is to remove the switch, assuming the non-resistor version is the same switch without the resistor (?)...

    Prodigy: Extra switches avaliable?

HEY! That is a GOOD question! I would buy one of the non-resistor switches if available!

killed my first atty with the Prodigy...

I was refering to that thread, which confused me because they differed from your instructions here, but hey, it seems to have worked! I obviously need to remember one of my own rules , atomizers are OFTEN not dead when you think they are dead. My wife used to often flood her 401...

killed my first atty with the Prodigy...

Hmmm... attempted to following your instructions... center post did not seem to lower. Attached atomizer, could not draw through it at all (and would not screw on very far). Took adapater off, gave a couple taps on the back side, working again. Not really sure I adjusted the height of the...

killed my first atty with the Prodigy...

OH NO 8-o! Now I am lost that you are lost! I thought that post would clear things up! Because my atomizers SEEMED to be dying (and now I realize were not, other that the first one), I tested the voltage output of the Prodigy adapter (very possibly incorrectly) and it appeared to me that the...

The contact post being the center post, inside the black ring, inside the thread? Lowering that seems counter-intuitive, so I want to make sure I understand what you are telling me. It currently sits flush or VERY slightly higher than the thread. Thanks for all your help! :)

Well, if I understand what you are saying, the resistor will reduce the voltage of either battery... but I thought that you had said elsewhere that with the resistor the performance of the 18650 would be unacceptable... though now that I try it more, it does seem rather weak, I guess I just...

Yes, .9 was the reading I got from the resistor, though my limited understanding is that once a resistor is attached to something, you can't get a true reading from it. Is there any possibility that the resistor could be getting bypassed in the switch somehow? I must note that a LITTLE...

killed my first atty with the Prodigy...

Well, not with the atomizer attached if that is what you mean. However I seem to be able to vape fine with an 18650 battery (though obviously less hot) which I just tried for the first time... which I didn't think would be possible with the resistor. I'm not really sure this bothers me IF the...

killed my first atty with the Prodigy...

For the purpose of testing... just measured a 18650 3.7V battery, got a reading of 4.18V. Put it in the Prodigy, pushed the button, got a measurement of 4.18V from the adapter. This indicates the resistor is not working as far as I can tell...

killed my first atty with the Prodigy...

Well, at this early stage I wouldn't rule anything out ... but if I push the button and get nothing, I'm pretty sure I would be SURE I was pushing the button all the way when I tried it again. Though, it seems to have to be recessed VERY LITTLE below the top of the switch in order to...

Well, generally until they stop turning, but I'm not cranking them. When they are not working I've tried loosening or tightening them but that doesn't seem to make a difference. Loosening and tightening the adapater with the atomizer still attached did just get it working...

killed my first atty with the Prodigy...

WELL... I'm kinda confused. The first atomizer I tried DEFINATELY popped after one second... I measured the resistance and it is infinity which means bad. I measured the resistance on the second atomizer which was not working and it was 3.6, so it seemed it should still be good. I tried a...
