Maybe the issue is geopolitical... (USA v China)

So New York narrowly escaped legislation the way of Illinois.. good. I will look into New Jersey. Stop e-cig ban now might have different info on these two States though, I will have to look into this.

Maybe the issue is geopolitical... (USA v China)

When you say did not succeed, do you mean for import or use? New York might have a law against importing pvs but not using them. Likewise with NJ. Can you be more specific about what succeeded and what failed regarding NJ and NY? Please use sources.

Propylene Glycol - THE Dubd1c3 Poll

Tiburon, yes, if you have an allergic reaction to something and a doctor confirms it, then put yes. Drozd, the PG content in cigarettes is extremely low, somewhere around 0.8-1.1 percent It is likely that is not sufficient to trigger an allergic reaction. The body will react to an allergen...

Propylene Glycol - THE Dubd1c3 Poll

Obviously, because of the choice being there, the number would be known and could be disregarded. On the allergy issue, I say again, if you are allergic to PG, you will know well before (years before) using electronic cigarettes, because one day your mom is bathing you in the sink and the...

Propylene Glycol - THE Dubd1c3 Poll

Well, first of all I know this is a somewhat crude method for getting the info. I'm sure it has a number of scientific holes, but I'm just trying to get a general idea. The question relates to whether you know you are allergic. Propylene glycol is in a LOT of products today, especially...

Propylene Glycol - THE Dubd1c3 Poll

SINCE YOU SAW THIS POLL YOU MUST VOTE TO MAKE THE POLL STATISTICALLY ACCURATE I am trying to define a percentage of people who are allergic to propylene glycol. I do not want this poll to become a "how many people are allergic" poll. It has to be a percentage, which means, since you read...

Do you know a lot of "non-smoker" vaporers?

Heh! But I agree with what you're saying Israfil, I agree with it all- I will have to incorporate those concepts into my thinking...

Do you know a lot of "non-smoker" vaporers?

Israfil, I understand what you're saying and I am aware of the distinction. The statistic suggests the same thing that its converse does. One can look at the issue both ways. In one sense, cold turkey is unsuccessful because the ABSOLUTE success rate is only about 10% (alcoholism, 20-25%)...

Do you know a lot of "non-smoker" vaporers?

These are interesting accounts- I will have to ponder the matter further- thanks.

Do you know a lot of "non-smoker" vaporers?

Motox, I think about this nightly. But there are a few knee-jerk responses I have to what you said. 1) You're, generally, quite correct. PVs are technological and SWEET. 2) Just because both cigarettes and PVs both contain nicotine, does not make them equally addictive! Do not suppose this...

In your life, have you ever quit and 'relapsed' back into smoking? What was it like? - A Dubd1c3 Poll

VocalEK, thanks for that account. I have been cruising your blog- it is AWESOME!

Do you know a lot of "non-smoker" vaporers?

Kryssi, you address an interesting point! Did you know, that what I call "the ritual of smoking," or the "habit" according to you, stimulates dopamine release on its own accord? Yes, this may be why it is hard to give up smoking, even with NRT. Why is it that NRT has such dismal success...

Do you know a lot of "non-smoker" vaporers?

Fool, I understand the points you are making, and I agree that some people are predisposed to struggle with addictive behaviors. I am also not suggesting that smoking is not addictive. Smoking, and nicotine, release dopamine in the brain, and is therefore in the list of behaviors that can...

Hitting a rough spot here, need some advice!

Scribe, Those who suggest cartomizers are wise. Your uneven hitting is most likely due to uneven 'wicking' otherwise known as 'new juice going to the atomizer' Cartomizers do a GREAT job at making sure the atty is wet for the next hit. If you are using cartridges that screw onto the atty...
