Yes, this is normal. Enjoy! I still swap out batteries each day to keep them at peak charge.

Well, I would cancel the batteries then if it would let me or if I knew when the order was placed. I've never dealt with a vendor that does not include a phone number for such issues.

I would hope they'd ship the Provari and backorder the batteries if that were the case. Batteries were just thrown in as extras.

PWM feeds the MosFET which works with the Inductor, caps, and a diode to produce what you see. Straight PWM would only allow voltage to drop and not boost.
