Have # of E-cig TV commercials increased

I use to never see E-cigarette commercials on TV. Now I see them every 2 or 3 days.

Series of short puffs instead of long draw to avoid burnt taste

My solution was more along the lines of you have done everything correctly. It's just for some unknown reason your getting a burnt taste. At that point try shorter of shallower puffs verse your normal draw and the burnt taste should go away. I have had times when the same setting with the same...

Series of short puffs instead of long draw to avoid burnt taste

Temperature control of coarse is designed to prevent the coil from getting hot enough to burn the e-liquid but an other consideration is how long the liquid is in contact with the hot coil. No matter what the TC setting is the e-liquid is much less likely to burn if it is only in contact with...

New FDA policy conflicts with itself and vaping

I suppose FDA could also limit the maximum amount of nicotine in e-liquid. That would be some what more consistent.

New FDA policy conflicts with itself and vaping

The new FDA policy would cut the amount of nicotine in cigarettes' In theory getting people to quit by reducing the amount of nicotine they take in while maintaining the same amount of smoke and tar they inhale. Yet at the same time FDA has given a reprieve to vaping which maintains nicotine...

The FDA tobacco regulations already enacted

Register and comply with regulations. It sounds simple but the standards are very high, you almost need a clean room and drug level manufacturing equipment

The FDA tobacco regulations already enacted

The regulation that really hurt tobacco stores was the one that prevented them from mixing their own E-liquids.

The FDA tobacco regulations already enacted

Some companies rushed what were basically prototypes into limited sales to beat the deadline and then brought them out later as production geared up. No doubt some have simply brought out new designs and ignored the regulations

The FDA tobacco regulations already enacted

Vaping Armageddon has been delayed at least 4 years and hopefully indefinitely. But FDA already has some tobacco regulations that have already been enacted. Most notable is the tobacco market has been frozen at August 8, 2016 I am not complaining because it is preferable to what we were facing...

    Deeming Regulations have been released!!!!

FDA could now (in theory) send warning letters to all E-cigarette companies to verify that every product the are currently selling was being sold prior to August 2016. While they vast majority of companies will be able to prove that they are in compliance. The few that can't could be in trouble

SF to ban sale of flavored tobacco products

The SF flavor ban does not take place until April 2018 which is only a few months before the August 2018 FDA deeming regulations will take effect. If we do not stop the deeming regs. the flavor ban will have little effect.

    Third times the charm ?

I just came back from the gas station and to be honest if the FDA regulation went into full effect the e-cigarette section would not look any different. It was all Blu and Vuse, both of which should survive the regulations.

House panel seeks to block FDA 'vaping' rules

Vaping will survive FDA regulation but in a manor that big tobacco likes since all the small companies will not survive.

    Third times the charm ?

Th Cole Bishop amendment, to basically save e-cigarettes as we know them, passed out of the house committee for the third time. The problem is the same people who did not vote for it back in April are still there which makes me wonder why the outcome will be different.

San Francisco Passes One-Size-Fits-All Flavor Ban, Condemns Smokers to Status Quo

I think zero nicotine liquid will still be allowed to be flavored. FDA considers zero nic to be a tobacco product but the state of California does not. Most likely SF would base their definition on the states regulations.

FDA Who will survive the FDA Regs?

Cosmic Fog is going to begin testing to comply with the deeming tobacco regulations. Nice to know someone other than big tobacco, Blu and Vuse will survive.

    Deeming Regulations have been released!!!!

Shouldn't PMTA applications be a matter of public record ? If not the details at least a record of the companies that have submitted.
