Funny that you mention that because I was thinking of getting a USB passthru as well as a usb to car lighter converter for when i'm in the car. :p maybe when i get some extra cash i'll get one. =] what website did you buy your passthru from? =]
It does get old fast. I can imagine that a regular joye 510 wouldn't be bothersome for a light user, but I guess I'm not such a "light" user. LOL. It's also nice having to carry few things around. =] no more bulky pcc for me. =P
I bougth mine from vaporjunction.com, but it appears all their Riva kits are sold out now. I got 10% off using the coupon code ECF10 and ordered a Delrin Drip Tip with my kit, it ended up costing me $57.76 for the kit, drip tip, and shipping. The coupon code basically gave me free shipping. :D
I've been using my new Riva for a week with the original Joye 510 atty that I got with my Joye 510 kit and it's amazing. In 5 days I've only had to recharge/switch out batteries 3 times... that's NOT bad at all. I was having to recharge my Joye 510 batts at least 3 or 4 times... a day. XP...
Not sure what the normal price range is for one but luckily VaporJunction still had the black Riva Starter Set in stock so I just bought one along with a Delrin Drip Tip (been meaning to get one). =] I'm soooo excited. LOL. It's like waiting for a new toy. Oh, and the coupon code ECF10 basically...
I just suggested they get a 30ml of juice because they wanted to know what to get to last them around 2-3 weeks. usually getting a tobacco flavored e-juice (usually the brand you use to smoke) when you first start should hold you up for a while once you start your quest on trying different flavors.
i have 3 back up attys (genuine joye 510's) because i'm currently using the joye 510 and just wanted an upgrade. i think i'm going to go with the Riva. the price and rubbery feeling button are more appealing to me. LOL.
thanks for the feedback. it seems they're too much alike to really split...
one more question, is the Riva made by a different manufacturer than joyetech, because the riva posted on vaporjunction is fairly cheaper than some of the eGo prices i was seeing? or is it slb's version of the eGo?
from what i'm hearing, the Riva's winning thus far. i prefer a rubbery feeling...
So I WAS pretty certain that I wanted to upgrade to an eGo but then saw some people saying the Riva was better. Can someone possibly point out the difference between the two and why one is better than the other? I wanted the eGo because I have spare 510 parts therefore, I can use them with my...
and i was going to buy it from cignot because i was also eyeing the drip tip. =P i was wondering if anyone had any recs on a better deal for a starter eGo kit. =] I'm really excited and anxious so anyone who can recommend a supplier in the US would be appreciated.
Cignot's starter eGo kit is...
OMG... i tried apple pie and pina colada today. they taste EXACTLY how they're suppose to. forgive me for my surprise, but i did try pina colada from another vendor and it tasted nothing like one... but TV's version... it's AMAZING how much it tastes like one. i can't wait to try out the other...
i got mine today too! =] i think i'm going to let them steep for about a week as well, just to be safe. plus, i have tons of juice that i have to get through anyway. =P
Like what everyone else, people tend to drip because it provides stronger flavor and more vapor. I actually switch between carts and dripping.
Every time I'm out and on the go, I use carts because dripping can be a hassle when driving and when you're out and about (for me at least). At home I...
Ironically enough, my reason for starting vaping is similar to yours. I wasn't planning on quitting either, I was just looking for an alternative for days that I have clinic because the hospital that I do my internship at also doesn't allow smoking anywhere on the premises, PLUS I'm a...
