I have an old power usb power source for a true white light that uses two usb hook ups to get the needed 8.1 VDC. Aka 5+5 VDC limited to 8.1 VDC I have seen plug in usb power sources with two usb ports so this might be an option. Take and run with at your liesure

As news often will, this whole thing has caused issues, does anyone know where to get the "LiPo charging bag” mentioned on notcigs home page? There is no link and even if I charge 30 Li batteries on my desk every day the powers that be want a "protection device" on my e-cig battery charger.

Point taken, as each veneer is custom maybe oversized end caps can be made and then the wood work done on a mandrel and slid with a slight increase in the thickness. The Mylar could act a s a release agent. Just a random idea.

A stainless mesh added as an inner tube would look great and prevent FOD form entering the tube, in time it could maybe be colored, green with black mesh, I have a feeling the purple/pink requests I often see here could be both met.

I cannot bring myself to unscrew the top cap right now as I am about 1000 miles from my real tools and another buzz or two, but if there is height in the tube above the PCB and room to thread deeper a fully inserted cap (with the wire hooked to it) into the tube put in with a spanner wrench...
