I checked that via the resistance from the bottom of the V2 pin to the negative terminal of the IGO-W. Also if I look at the bottom of the Trident I can see scuff marks from where the brass contacted the pin. Can't really see on the IGO-W since it's pin doesn't really scuff (it's not brass...

Screws are indeed tight. Also the IGO works fine on my SVD. I can't test the Trident on my SVD since it has a 0.7 ohm coil, but the IGO with a 1.9 ohm coil works fine on the SVD but I get nothing on the V2 :(
