My #1 pick! I had a guest in house for the weekend and lost sleep, when she left I thought I'd take a little nap before the sale and zonked out for like 5 hours lol...The stars were aligned for you that day my friend. Tell Matt(or did you make that one Bert?) to make some more tips in this...

Missed the sale :( What ever happened to those TX flag tips? I was under the impression I would see more of those.

Regular wear might add to the beauty of that mod. Take a look at Willie Nelsons guitar for example. I can assure you he wouldn't have it any other way.

Cool! He glued those tiny pieces of wood together? Then crafted it on that tiny scale? That is a nice looking drip tip. Looks like it has a sturdy clear coating on it but I have to wonder if the feel can even come close to what we are used to. In a way, it almost looks like glass...

Not exact sure what you are looking for. But I've had good luck out of this one http://m.harborfreight.com/micro-torch-42101.html?utm_referrer=direct%2Fnot%20provided For the money it can be considered disposable. I've had similar style torches that were much more expensive that crapped out...

I just watched a video on drilling the KFL then disassembled my 3.1. I'm not sure its possible, but I'll order a cheap KFL this weekend. I have something to mess with in the meantime :D

Kewl, thanks for the info guys. As suspected I now need supplies. That 36 gauge wad when I was experimenting with the iatty and has been in the drawer for a few years now. The heavy gauge stuff was for me trying to rebuild Atlantis coils, hardly worth the effort. I have a cheap coiler that...

We've been getting earthquakes here in north TX. Two today, I felt the second one just minutes ago:blink: Thanks for the link, my first two attempts were pitiful. That guy never really mentioned what gauge wire he was using or a target resistance. All I got is 22 and 24 then it jumps up to...

I got my Plasma Tank in today as well. Pretty nifty looking, now I have to learn how to build my KF:facepalm: Also, it fits that cheap knock off I bought perfectly.

I had assumed that meant safe up to 20 amps. The higher amp ratings are needed for those building coils with extremely low resistance. To my understanding you can use the high drain batteries on anything but using the lower rated ones in a high amperage application could be problematic

I believe they are shipping a few at a time. Bookmark the plasma tank page to keep an eye on the order # shipped. Bert mentioned not being able to access the page if its not bookmarked once the sale has ended. The site currently says last order shipped was 3479, my order is 3481 and ordered...
