Yes, it's the 510 clearomizers that have the burnt taste. I got the liquid to go into that top compartment and vaped it at an angle - I got 3 or 4 good hits then burnt taste again. Maybe I just can't chain vape on these. The GGDCCs seem to work great in any position.

Thanks GoodDog. I tried that last night but still got burnt taste. I'll try again tonight when I get home. Maybe after sitting overnight they will work better.

I will add my praise for the dual coil Go carts - they are awesome! My husband and I have been using the same one each for over week and still going strong. I just tried tonight, however, the 3.5 ml dual coal clearomizers and must be doing something wrong - first hit ok then awful, awful burnt...

Dang. I was afraid of that. I used it to clean out some of the epower 6ml cartos - I thought when it dried it left nothing.

Wendallb - I'm curious - do you mean regular rubbing alcohol or ? It seems that would work too but not sure.

I should also add it's a testimony to Choppers tanks that they worked so well even with the subpar cartos. Also, I fixed some leaking problems I had with the tank by putting a thin band of poster putty around the sideplug to make sure there was no air getting in. Now, I can't wait to try them...

Well I can offer one tip of advise so far - don't wait until you have a whopping 35 cartomizers to clean and rebuild. Sheesh it's taking me awhile, especially this being my first time and all. We are leaving for a long trip soon and I thought it would be good but dang it's taking me awhile. So...

Also meant to add here that I found out from Eric that the colored cartos are pre-filled - I somehow missed that and so of course the filler looked different (it was saturated) and they didn't take as much liquid when I first filled. My bad!

OH! I didn't know they were pre-filled. Well that explains that! :-) Do you know if they are also a lower resistance that the standard cartos? I will look forward to your video on cleaning. I've been saving all the threads on this for when I am able to do it but it would be great to see it done too.

Yes, I do have other cartos from my original purchase. Not sure I trust myself to punch them though - maybe hubby could do it if we have the right tools? Your suggestions would be most welcome. I really love my Chopper tanks and want to be able to use them :-)

Harley41, yes, I just had that experience last night. Twice, with two different tanks/cartos, both new. I had had great success with two prior to that, so I don't know what it is. I just posted about this in the main Go-Go thread...

I have to think that the carto with tank will last longer. We've had ours for maybe 2 weeks now and keep refilling the same one with no problem. They will come with a cut cartomizer that may be different from what you are using. It really is a dream to be able to refill so easily.
