Man these things are way different than the cartomizer/passthrough e-cig stuff I'm used to.
I switched to a milder flue cured tobacco juice and that calmed it down a bit but this puts out so much concentrated vapor and it does it so fast I end up dizzy.
As for the kit I got (pictured 2 posts...
Got the first one today and got it set up. Pretty easy.
Holy eye watering crap Batman these things hit like an angry ton of bricks!
This is going to take a little getting used to. Room is spinning. May have to cut back a bit on the nicotine level.
Whew! Roger!
Quick couple ?? for you more experienced folks please. . .
Are the coils that come with these kits any good? I already checked out some video's about installing them and fixing hot spots/even firing etc. very cool.
What is a good easy to get/use replacement coil type and gauge for these...
I'm still using the same type 3.7 v box mods, cartomizers and 5v passthroughs I have been using since I joined this forum. Seen a lot of high dollar crap come and go that just didn't look like it would last. I'm not much into expensive fads.
Now these bottom feeder squonk critters got my...
I just ordered another Frankenfreak kit off ebay that will get here by Monday instead of waiting for chinapost.
I already have a pack of cotton wick and 2 new sony VTC 5's + a charger waiting here for the mods.
I have lost my mind!
Great thread folks Thank all of you for the great tips, tricks and info.
I have a Frankenfreak kit on the way from fasttech and I am confident I can now handle any problems it may give me.
Oh and if anybody wants the 6ml soy sauce bottles here is a source for them real cheap!
Good vaping to you...
At bars. The smoke nazis stare, sputter and just about have a stroke because I'm clearly enjoying myself and they can't make me stop.
Oopsie, your control is lost on me you pitiful excuse of a human being!~~:smokie:
Hang with it you'll get there. I was smoke free for 4 months then somehow got sucked back in for a while.
About 2 weeks ago I looked at the cigar I was standing outside smoking and thought "this is really stupid, and expensive."
Back on track now!~
I started with a disposable 510 kit, moved up to a 510 cartomizer kit and got sick of the short life batteries.
Now I use a 3.7 boxmod and a 5 volt passthrough, and I keep a roughstack on my motorcycle.
I buy the 100 ML jugs of alien visions flue cured and never notice a difference in flavor.
They are top of the line though and that may make a difference, the stuff ain't cheap.
I get a couple weeks or more out a standard Boge carto. I use a PT at home and a 3.7 box mod and a roughstack on the go.
I poke the center hole out when it gets pluggy and keep them wet with 4 drops down the sides at the first hint of dryhit.
I like the clearo's and have had luck with them...
Started almost a year ago on dekang flu cured and now vape only alien vision flue cured. I tried many other tobacco samplers and gave them away.
I never liked menthol and have no desire to smoke a peach or a piece of pie.
Been using a PT from madvapes for almost a year now and it works fine. Like another poster mentioned tape the ends to keep the wire from pulling out and bending and no problems.
I used clear packing tape and I can still see the LED.
I got a cheap one from alien vision for a backup and it looks...
Great little video there! ~
Face it, you are going to end up with a mod anyway so you might as well just get one now and save piles of money.:vapor:
