APV that have a low run and are hard to come by are my favorite. I hate hate mass produced everyday run of the mill stuff. I much rather save up a little more and go on the hunt. Not saying I don't use mass produced stuff just prefer different and well made here in the states.

Imeo, I guess I do have one more concern on the flaking of the plating even beyond the place where the o-ring is seated. If you look at the photo's you will see it is all the way up the post. This would have to be migrating into the juice and that can not be good.

So there is no concern of lead leaching from the brass once the chrome plating breaks down.
