Have some genuine Joye cartos on the way to try. I have used both SLB and Boge and find the SLB better in flavour and vapour. Again its all personal taste, but cartos are great for on the go. At home though dripping into an atty or using carts seems to be a better option for me.

5v should be better for you. I find 6v too harsh and hot for me also, but 5v is just right.
