    ce style carto???

Good to know. I assumed it was just a CE2-type coil assembly recessed with some filler material around it. I'll take my first one apart once I've killed it. I vaped it all weekend, and aside from the large amount of liquid it uses I don't have any problems with it. I went back to a CE2 this...

    ce style carto???

After a full day of vaping this setup, I'll just add this: this thing uses an epic amount of juice. I believe I got a bit queasy at one point, too, which I can't absolutely attribute to the carto/tank. But it definitely draws more juice than the DCs... maybe twice as much. Worth it, too, though...

    ce style carto???

I've just replaced the DC carto in my tank with a fresh 2.0 ohm CE2-style carto from Madvapes, and so far it's stellar. It's too early to say for sure, but if the performance continues to be this good (at 3.7V, but also great on an Ego) it will become my default vape. Note that, as far as I...

    alternative for CE user?

I should add that I've not had good luck with clearomizers. They tend to leak, fail often, and have a high incidence of defect. I if I have to go this way I will, but I was hoping there are other options out there for a super-clean-tasting vape.

    alternative for CE user?

I've been vaping almost three years, and for the past 18 months or so have completely checked out of the ever-evolving PV world because I was happy with my CE2/Riva setup. Now that CE cartos are almost impossible to find, I'm searching for an equivalent. I strongly prefer the taste of the...

    Riva and Cones With Cartomizers

One note about the threading, now that I've had some time with these. The trick seems to be to not fully tighten either the carto or the cone at first, but to gradually screw each down a bit at a time, alternating. That seems to prevent either from ever binding.

    Riva and Cones With Cartomizers

I know everyone needed yet another Riva review, right? After almost a year of happily using my standard 510 setup (and never having lost a battery to failure, by the way), I decided to get a Riva from Liberty Flights for an upcoming vacation so I wouldn't have to wrestle so much with recharging...

    aluminum 510 cases?

Anyone know any other vendors who sell this case? https://www.cignot.com/ProductDetails.asp?ProductCode=510-CAS-ALL

Okay, Does Anyone Know What "DIPPING" Is?

Exposed-bridge attys are really great for this, and I prefer it to dripping. You can also paint the juice on with a dropper, which works really well. Unfortunately, I'm using 510s now, so...

Do you vape indoor and with kids around?

I don't let mine see me do it most of the time, so no. I doubt it's harmful but (1) I don't know, and (2) there's no reason my two-year-old should think smoking is acceptable to me... and she's not going to appreciate the difference between smoking and vaping.

    Mixing nic with existing e-juice?

Yeah, I do it from time to time, especially when 0mg is the only available "strength." I have samplers I do this to, as well, and bottles I got from vendors' bargain sections here and there. And if your nic base is strong enough, the dilution is often negligible... at least for me. For example...

Are 510 E2 clearomizers really better than normal E2 cartomizers?

I've only tried the XL steel CE2s, but the clearomizers were clearly better, though I can't imagine why. So, yes, you'll possibly have a better experience with the clearos. Because of the fragility of the clearomizers, I moved almost exclusively to XL CE2s, which work fine for me as long as I...

Has anyone else has issues with the Quantum-pen e-cig?

I have a smaller Quantum (the eco?) from a mall kiosk, and while it performed pretty well at first, the batteries were unreliable and started putting out low vapor pretty quickly. I moved up to a 510 and was completely satisfied. So spend that $40 on a 510 kit and some cartos.

There seems to be several brands of 510 and eGo-type...which are best?

Just note that some "wall warts" don't have the amperage to drive a passthrough. My iPhone one seems to always work, and I think it's rated about 1 amp. Many chargers are half that, and do not work. Check the specs on the passthrough to see what amperage is required. Madvapes, incidentally...

There seems to be several brands of 510 and eGo-type...which are best?

By the way, I don't know but you might meet the criteria for the PIF emergency needs forum. Look over the instructions there and PM a moderator if it seems appropriate.

There seems to be several brands of 510 and eGo-type...which are best?

I started in September with a 510 kit, bought a second for spare parts. Lately I've been thinking about getting a Riva (eGo clone), but I'm not sure I need it. Some important notes: a. I still have the original batteries, and they work fine. I carry 4 standard 510 batteries and have never once...

    Great 5v USB pass-through

I really, really love my direct 510 PT from madvapes. MadVapes 5 Volt 510 Manual USB Passthrough

Will this Passthrough work with my Riva 510 Stuff?

Search the forums on this. I think the way it's commonly done is putting some kind of sleeve, like a straw, over the connection points and then wrapping in electrical tape. ElectronicNicStix sells a PT with excellent build quality from this point of view, and I use it every day at work, but it...

Will this Passthrough work with my Riva 510 Stuff?

Just to clarify: a malfunctioning direct (batteryless) PT can damage your computer, so it's best to use an AC-to-USB wall adapter instead. It's really not much trouble, once you've got the setup you want. At work, I run an extension with an AC adapter up to my desk. At home, the PT reaches from...
