I was able to fix the connection using an old AGA parts kit I bought way back. I cut down an AGA center post and put it in place of the GEN II's. It's running now, all coils are a'glow... sucks I had to modify it to get it running but I'm really liking the size.

aaaand it's a piece of ..... It's all chrome plated brass and the tube is poly. That and I can't get it to ground. There's an o-ring that won't sit right no matter what I do, and it's blocking the ground connection. Moving it doesn't help, either. Thanks for the junk, Bruce.

Just don't go so far that you end up trying to prove a hypothesis that's true until proven wrong. Personally I don't think our wicks are getting hot enough for any of this to happen, even dry burning. Kanthal is very resistant to corrosion and the wick doesn't get nearly as hot while dry...

The funny part in all of this is that even if this is happening, I believe that vaping SS mesh is still be a healthier alternative to cigarettes.

I do an unflavored switch in my genesis atomizers. Basically when I want to switch flavors, I'll drain the tank and then fill it 1/4 of the way with unflavored and let that wash out the flavor. Then I'll put in the next flavor, by the time the unflavored is almost gone, it's a smooth transition.

IF you're into 100% VG, then yeah I suppose so. Personally I find medium tightness wicks work the best. Too thin and the juice starts boiling inside the wick tube. Too tight and thick liquid has to fight its way up. Somewhere in between is where I like mine. It has enough mass to prevent the...

Sounds pretty average to me for 325 with 100% VG. I would consider making the switch to 400, it appears to be the standard for all types of juices, though I'm sure the next guy who replies will praise 500.
