I ended up going with the Boreas after watching a few videos. Thanks for all the input. I'll post back here with an airflow comparison in case someone stumbles across this via a Google or ECF search.

I have the Avocado 24 rdta. Looking for a tank and not another gennie style dripper. Even the Avocado 24 felt a little too restrictive. I modded it by widening the holes with a drill bit. That helped a little. Can anyone actually compare the airiest tank they've tried against popular RDAs so...

How close would you say the Boreas gets to the MX V2 if they're both wide open? I'll check out some videos too when I get home. Just wondering if it's like the MX V2 with a couple holes closed off or if it's like the MX if the MX were wide open (all 18 holes open)

If you've tried the new TFV8, would you say the Boreas has more airflow?

Have you tried the Mutation X RDA's? You would say that this compares in your opinion? If you haven't tried a MX RDA, what RDA would you compare this to? I've also had a Plumeveil but the airflow was too restricted.

I'll keep this short. I'm looking for a tank, if one exists, that has rebuild able coils that has airflow comparable to a Mutation X V2. I love my Mutation X V2 RDA and use it with all airholes wide open. I don't care too much about flavor and how it refills. I just tried my friends new TFV8...

Well, I'm pretty upset. There were 2 threads in regards to this issue and it appears that the 510 to Ego adapter didn't help me like it helped others. The Kanger T3 still doesn't want to make an air tight seal with my Ego Twist. I think I just got a bad batch of T3s.. :(

Where did you order from?

There's a C on the bottom of my twist with 3 separate lines insinuating it's twisting, lol. I wonder if it's the new T3s that were purchased then. I see a lot of posts where people are noticing issues with theirs. How recently have you purchased your T3s, Kent?

This is exactly the same problem I'm having and why the thread was created. So you see a difference in the T3s then?

This isn't the problem we're experiencing though. The Kanger T3 will work, but it doesn't completely screw down because of the extra threading resulting in a bad seal.

Dang, I must have been given a weird one then. I see yours DOES have less threading than mine. Where did you purchase from?

Anyone recently purchase an Ego Twist that can confirm if the threading is different now?

Is yours new? How long have you had your Ego-C Twist?

Wow, so I just counted the threads on the new Ego-C versus my old Ego-T. I count 6 grooves on the Ego-C and only 5 grooves on the Ego-T which would make complete sense as to why there's a little gap between the two. Bah... lame.

This would make sense because the T3 works perfectly with my other Ego batteries. I just received my Ego-C battery in the mail yesterday so i'm assuming it's part of their "new" modified design (if what you heard was true). Anyone with newer Ego-Cs notice this with their new T3s?
