not a trick per say..... but ribbon wire is where it is at with Genisis style tanks. i think it gives off better flavor, and cuts my setup time by half....

500 mesh wrapped TIGHT, but still hollow in the middle (paperclip size), and jammed into the juice wells. The heat pulls the juice like you wouldn't believe, but i dont get any leaks or flooding....
