Review: eGo Twist VV and eGo Vision / Stardust

I get most of my stuff from Ecig-SA. They're Australian (Adelaide, hence the SA). Peter (the guy who owns it) gives awesome customer service, and the postage is fast. Useful if you live in Aus, maybe not so much if you're in Massachusetts!

Review: eGo Twist VV and eGo Vision / Stardust

Just wanted to share a bit of a "wow" moment, and add my 2c to the eGo Twist VV battery and eGo Vision/Stardust reviews. Yesterday was my 19 month anniversary of starting to vape. Haven't had an analog since then, either. I started with an elusion, moved on to a 510, and for the past year or...

Anyone here in australia used e-lusion??

Hi Liz, I started with an elusion. Here's my 2c: Pros: * Customer service was good, and delivery time was reasonable given that it had to come so far (as you say, NZ). * Pre-filled cartos made starting out a no-brainer, which made getting on with quitting smokes easier * I really liked the...

Correspondence with the NDS / TCA

Keep up the good work, Sik! It's great to see people being pro-active. The more articulate and well-reasoned arguments we can put to the Powers That Be the further we'll get and the stupider they'll look for spewing the same ill-informed Big Tobacco/Pharma rhetoric.

$8000 fine if caught with nicotine ejuice in oz

Thanks for the link. Have voted and commented. I'm especially worried, as I put in an order from Tasy Vapor today. Fingers crossed it gets here OK.

Question about 510 CE2 cartomizers on ego

Sorry, been away for a few days so I didn't see your post until just now. I'll see if I can get a picture for you (just have to beat my crappy camera into submission).

    510 Users: Drip or Carts?

Drip. Cartridges are the devil's work. All the fiddling of dripping with more mess and less taste. That's if I have to choose between Option A and Option B. Personally, I'd rather go with Option C. Cartomizers FTW!

Question about 510 CE2 cartomizers on ego

My story's similar to yours. The battery life (or lack thereof) on my 510 was driving me mental, so when I put in an order for the C-E2 I also ordered an ego battery and cone. Best thing I ever did. I got the Black (ie non-clear) C-E2, and with the black battery and cone my new ego looks...

    Hello from Snow Ridden Illinois!

Greetings from heatwave/cyclone/flooding ridden Australia! If the poisonous animals don't kill you, the weather will sure try! Welcome to ECF :)

    Newbie questions about dripping...

I can really only answer this from my own experience, but here goes: I started with cartomizers. They held 18-20 drops, and usually lasted me a day. All was fine and dandy. I thought to myself, why would anyone muck around with this fiddly dripping nonsense? Then I changed devices, and with...

    Newbie questions about dripping...

There's a fine art to working out how many drops of your liquid is the right amount. The viscosity (thickness) of the liquid in particular will determine how many drops you can use each time without flooding the atty. It's all a bit of trial and error to begin with, so have your napkins at the...

Unsung feature of 510 manual batteries

    Gaffer tape. It fixes everything.

do I need a drip tip?

+1 to the above. Also, with a drip-tip you don't have to muck around with fillers that leak or taste like burning. Just pure, sweet flavour. You don't need a drip tip. You can make do with something else that does the same thing. But you do need to try dripping in one form or another.

Unsung feature of 510 manual batteries

And how. I think that was one of the first things I noticed when I switched from auto to manual. Everything in my house is covered in cat hair. Everything except my PV. Thankyou, sticky-outy manual battery button! (Next week: a tickertape parade for the inert carbon rod!)

    Newbie needing help

Hi Nightryder, welcome to ECF :) I started with an elusion, so I might add my 2c worth. I have the larger 1023, so I can't vouch for the performance or battery life of the new 1123, but I expect it's much of a muchness. They say that each pre-filled catromizer will last 150-300 puffs. I...

    A Personal "Breakthrough" Moment

First a potted history: I smoked 15-20 12mg cigarettes a day for almost 10 years. I'd tried quitting (unsuccessfully) so many times using so many methods that my New Year's resolution for 2010 was to "quit quitting"! I enjoyed smoking, and only bought my PV to save money. But somehow (almost...

    Who Quit? Need a count

If you quit? Yes. Haven't had a single analog since the day my first PV arrived in the mail. How long you've been analog free? Today will be 70 days. How long you smoked prior? About 10 years. Would you go back to analog if ecig hardware or software became unavailable? I would try to quit...

    An Aargh-y New Year

I'm now the proud owner of a 510 kit in brushed metal. Very shiny (quite literally). Are you excited? I sure am! I've just taken her for her first spin, and I'm pretty impressed. Here's what I think so far: * The manual battery works a little differently to the auto one I was used to...

    An Aargh-y New Year

You would think they would have arrived by now, but sadly not :( To be fair, I do live in a pretty remote location, so the post takes a little longer. Fingers crossed it'll turn up today. Rest assured, I'll let you know when it does! In the meantime, I did manage to get to a chemist for...
