Maybe try a metal adjustable auto hose clamp. Like one for a radiator hose but smaller. Put it on and heat it up with a torch or lighter and tighten the clamp a little bit. Should tighten up the tube a bit when it cools off. Leave the clamp on till it cools. Should make for a tighter fit.

Ever since they changed to this new format. Can't tell new threads from stickies anymore. Makes me not come around as much anymore. Oh well.
