So I haven't been active here in years - CV19 got me into cleaning mode. I came across my Provari P3 and decided to vape on it. Damn, forgot it doesn't support sub-ohm! Does anyone do the firmware upgrades anymore? I have the original v3.6.

Vape 360: I know Provape sells the No-Ox lubricant. I have NoAlox by Ideal that I have used on all my mods, including my beautiful chrome Provari v1 which has to be at least 3+ years old (upgraded to v2 and still going strong). Before I try it on the P3, I'd like your take on it...

Got mine about 25 minutes ago,,, After watching the Busardo video earlier today, I was able to navigate the menu without having to read the manual. Set at 11.6 watts with Boost at 2. Topper is a ceramic-wicked AGA-T with a 1.7 ohm coil. The ceramic is quite a heat sink and the Boost is an...

coils reading low ohms don't know why please help

I wasn't aware that Michaels sells resistance wire... I know that they sell regular silver wire, unless it is the type used for styrofoam cutting. I believe that kind of wire has a very low ohm/foot rating...

Russian 91% v2 irratic resistance readings

I'm not 100% sure (maybe 91%:)), but I believe the hole is integral to making the air-flow control possible.

Russian 91% v2 irratic resistance readings

As I said, shim it. As long as it sits between the block and the white insulator, you can use any material, even metal. I would first try using a thick piece of cardboard, say from the back of a legal pad or similar, to see if it will help. The threads of your center post seem that they are...

Russian 91% v2 irratic resistance readings

As Mike3 pointed out, it is a two part post — unscrew the first screw all the way out and it will reveal the post itself. It is also screwdriver slotted. Tighten that one as tight as possible, as it is what connects to the block. Once it is tight the block won't move. Then replace the other...

Russian 91% v2 irratic resistance readings

Got my pin and replacement top cap and drip tip cap from VaporDNA today. No more wonky Ω readings and the new cap and tip made my v2 into a v1. I am very happy with the setup — the top cap and drip tip are of as high a quality as the original v1 parts. They even included the o-rings! Hope...

Russian 91% v2 irratic resistance readings

I've tested mine with a multimeter by clipping one lead to a piece of metal and the other to the base of the russian. Touching the spring post to the metal, I get varying ohms as I continue to compress the post. Definitely not a black box issue.
