Got my pin and replacement top cap and drip tip cap from VaporDNA today. No more wonky Ω readings and the new cap and tip made my v2 into a v1. I am very happy with the setup — the top cap and drip tip are of as high a quality as the original v1 parts. They even included the o-rings! Hope...

VaporDNA also sells the top cap and drip tip parts for the V1 at $5.00 each. I bought the V1 pin and the cap and drip tip to put on my V2 R91%...

I've tested mine with a multimeter by clipping one lead to a piece of metal and the other to the base of the russian. Touching the spring post to the metal, I get varying ohms as I continue to compress the post. Definitely not a black box issue.
