    Holiday Spice

I had heard that cinnamon wasn't too safe to inhale... I'd hate to see you hurt from turning this into your daily vape or something

    Advanced Atomizer Designs

Okay, so it should be pretty easy to design an analog constant power source (using a power op-amp and some feedback for prototyping and maybe later some cleverness combined with discrete transistors in a current mirror configuration, or perhaps some kind of pulse width modulation based...

    A few questions from a e-cig newbie...

Liberty Flights is really cool. I live about two miles from their offices and just bought an eGo pass through from them; they share offices with Vapure, and everybody working at either company seemed pretty legit.

    'Smoke Flavor' used in E-Liquid?

Does you know if suppliers are using 'smoke flavoring' (i.e. smoke particulate matter trapped in a liquid) in e-liquids? I had some tobacco flavored stuff that felt and tasted way too much like a cigarette and I'm wondering if I am actually inhaling particulate matter from smoke. Thank you! -Kevin

    Advanced Atomizer Designs

That dawrin is a clever idea; however I don't know if that level of sophistication (namely the screen) is required to do what it does. I'm going to come up with a similar design using a power op-amp that will accomplish variable power output by using feedback for the voltage level across the...

    Wow, errybody into it.

People are into this at the bar...everybody wants to try it (especially because I have boysenberry waffles flavor from tastyvapor.us...super hot). Also, was vaping in a coffeeshop earlier today and nobody said anything, just got a couple of looks cause me and my buddy look like crack fiends (we...

    Advanced Atomizer Designs

Java_Az: I have scoped it quite a bit. I lurked here a lot before I started posting (past week or two). I didn't see anything quite in that direction back when I was lurking...

    Licensing of posts

Would this fit better in a different forum (maybe the forum about the forum; the meta-forum)? If so, could a mod move it there?

My Ultra-legal-Christian sister says its sin to smoke the 510 yeti??

The Pope (a couple of popes ago) smoked a pack of Dunhill's per day. A Cardinal came to the pope and asked, "Pope, why do you continue with this vice? It is harmful and disgusting." The pope replied, "While harmful to my body it may be, is it harmful to my soul?"

    Catastrophic Battery Failures

Java_Az: Thanks for the reply, that makes things pretty clear. Somebody should start a testing/post-mortem analysis lab (like UL for e-cigs)...I'd be into it; designers could submit their designs and get approval and advertise the hell out of the fact that their design passed the test. Thoughts?

    Licensing of posts

I'd like to start a web page that kind of compiles a lot of the best info I have found on e-cigs; I keep getting kids around campus (at UCSD) asking me about it and I'd like to point them in the direction of that page. How does licensing work here? If I make a post, do I retain copyright...

    Advanced Atomizer Designs

I'd post this in the modder's forum, but can't because of my low post count. (Can a moderator maybe move it there for me? I think this is a pretty relevant question...) Has anybody designed a mod that tries to drive the temperature of the atomizer to an ideal level (with a little control...

    Catastrophic Battery Failures

WomanOfHeart: Thanks for the links, that is exactly what I was looking for. Anybody know of an e-cig design (whole shebang) that is UL approved (and can hold more than ~800 mAh)?

    Catastrophic Battery Failures

Does anybody know of a manufacturer that makes high performance (Li-Ion, Li-Polymer) protected batteries in Japan or stateside? I know that Chinese manufacturing isn't always that bad these days (typing this up on a Chinese iMac...) but still I'd trust something out of Japan near my face more...

    A few questions from a e-cig newbie...

One big difference between models, if you haven't figured it out yet, is the thread size on the batteries/atomizers. I'd get 510 threads if I were you, since that seems to be the most popular at the moment. Some people like atomizers/cartomizers on different thread sizes, but you can buy...

    Catastrophic Battery Failures

Hey everybody, I was just reading a thread about a battery failure, admittedly the poster was using an unprotected Li-Ion battery. What is the likelihood of catastrophic failure when using manufactured e-cig batteries (with threads/switch/charging IC built in)? What about protected Li-Ion...

    A few miscelaneous newbie questions

Also, I'm pretty sure that the only difference between a 301 or a 601 is the sleeve on the battery.

    A few miscelaneous newbie questions

DocWyatt, cskent, thanks for letting me know that before I blew a bunch of money on incompatible stuff! Do the thread size adapters work well enough to be considered for everyday usage? What size threads seem to be becoming the standard, if any?

    A few miscelaneous newbie questions

Hello! I'm new to the whole vaporizing thing. This forum has proven to be a really valuable resource for me in finding information about electronic cigarettes. Most of the stuff I'm going to ask has probably been answered already, but I'm super busy with finals coming up in school (I'm a...
