Tried it. That trick, and a rubber band, works to get some of my tight tanks apart but there's not enough surface area on the RBA to get a good enough grip. Thanks though.

I don't have a mini or a deck holder but shortly after I posted this I went back at it and successfully got a coil on the darn thing. I hope the V2 is a lot easier.

I just bought one of these VVTF RBAs for my Nautilus. How the heck are you supposed to build this thing? Holy cow. Wouldn't be so bad if it didn't sit so low in the Nautilus so at least you'd have some bottom support but it's way to low to build on down there. And forget about 28 gauge wire...

I'd like to know that as well. I'll bet money that his battery didn't have the proper amperage for his build.

Just got mine today. Did the 15 second/30w test and no problems. Time will tell I guess.

I have a Trident an IGO-S and an IGO-L and they all fit everything fine. I'm sure these threads weren't machined correctly. Maybe if I can find out the thread size I'll get a nut and just crank it on and see if that fixes them. If not, oh well. I'll just have to use it on my Chi Chi.

Ah that's right. I forgot all about the mean (Vavg) that the istick uses. Well, seeing that I already have a pair of maracas I think maybe I'll just use my iStick, whenever the heck it gets here, as a backup. One more to throw in the mix. Any one have a Beyang? :)
