I had an issue with one of my flattops not firing regularly until I really tightened up the telescoping threads... Not sure if this will help you

I have a few KTS' and one K100, I honestly prefer the bottom button of my k100 as it's less prone to falling apart on me. (personal experience of course) Now, my KTS' still get used, but I have had issues with them.

Everyones 'buds are different :) I use 1-2 drops per 10ml of sucralose when I feel something needs it.
