Also remember that mixing flavoring -too- high can screw things up as well. The most glaring example I can think of is PA's Maraschino Cherry - mix it at more than 3%, and it's disgusting (IMO, of course.)

From experience (since I had the same question you did, essentially) - a 5V "pure" PT will run on a 7-port USB hub just fine. Mine has a 3.8A power supply on it (it's a Belkin,) and it works like a champ. That being said, YMMV of course... but it's better to blow up a $40 USB hub than to blow up...

Interestingly enough, I notice now that the article has been removed. I wonder if it's because the writer realized he didn't have all the facts, or if it was indeed an advertisement for Blu and they didn't like the publicity saying Blu sucks. :P

I'll toss something extra in here, based on another thread I read. Remember, just because it says a temperature on the dial you set, it doesn't mean it's actually going to -be- that temperature. My toaster oven runs 100F hotter than the 150F it claims on the dial. If the lowest your toaster...
