"The Russian" 91% (Kayfun Lite Clone With A Twist)
I'll second this. Ecowool was the number one source of dry hits on mine. I could not stand cotton from prior experiences, however I tried cotton (make sure its 100%) and never looked back. No dry hits unless I get careless and make a sloppy build. Sent from my ME173X using Tapatalk 2- Bmays

Strange DNA30 battery level behavior... anyone seen this?
Not to sound like a smart azz but I chimed in a few pages back and explained how the DNA boards do battery readings. The DNA does not monitor battery voltage per se, it uses calculations based on your current wattage setting. It will give you an estimation of battery level remaining. It will... -
Kayfun Lite Plus being harsh
True that. Too much cotton and it don't work, too little and it burns. Plus, there is a small break in period. I have rotate 4 kayfuns and when they are hitting right there's not a lot that's better. Hope you get it sorted.... Sent from my ME173X using Tapatalk 2- Bmays

I'm sure there's a way but I couldn't figure it out either. Thanks for the reply. The only issue I've had with my DNA30 build is I keep getting "locked click 5x" on the display. I've swapped buttons and still seem to get this. It seems that I need to press firmly otherwise I must be on the...- Bmays

Would love to know how you got the "angle eye" led to light when the mod fires. I thought I knew a thing or two and could only get it to work "off line" or out of the actual DNA circuit. (Battery only power, not activated via the power to the 510 connection). Turns out, my button was too long...- Bmays

With the 18650's installed the back cover would not go on. It was pressing the DNA board. Thankfully the epoxy had not cured fully and I was able to reposition the board to allow the cover to be installed. Works like a champ. Not near as nice as some I've seen built but it gets the job done...- Bmays

Like asdaq I simply dry burn until the AO is glowing. I've gone for months with that and haven't noticed a huge drop in performance. Could be the juice I use/make aiding to that as well. However to be honest my AO attys have taken a back burner to the kayfun for no other reason than...- Bmays

Looks great Proetus, Mine was gonna get a design printed on it but the print shop has been busy and if its not done by tomorrow afternoon I'm gonna just settle for plain cobalt blue too. Question folks. I got 4 of the 5A fuses. I have "jumped" the positive and negative on the keystone holder...- Bmays

The DNA boards to NOT measure current battery voltage, I.e. true battery level. This has been verified by evolv. The boards use a "calculated" measurement based on your current wattage setting. So, by switching wattage (lower) , you notice the battery indicator increases. Folks can slim up... -
