The Kanger SubTanks are nice. Very airy. They come with .5 & 1.2 ohm coils. The original and mini also have a rebuildable deck. You can also rebuild the coil heads fairly easily.

On VV/VW devices you will only set one or the other. There is a relationship between ohms, voltage and watts. (Amps also figures in, but that's not one of the variables that devices allow you to control) look up ohms law. That's what DingerCPA was doing in his post above.

My VTR generally reads within .1 ohm of my DMM. What does it do if you take the reading with the probes and not on the fitting?

Are you building a dual coil setup? Are you measuring each coil individually with the DMM and then mounted on the VTR? When doing dual coils, the *combined* resistance is half of each individual coil.

Probably right on the voltage on the clouper. It might be worth waiting to see what the MVP 3.0 sells for. It's supposed to have a genuine evolv chip. Of course I don't think it will be as small as all the new minis coming out.

I have the VS rDNA 30 and I really like it. Just a little bigger than the VS DNA. I really wanted to like the DNA, but needed something with more battery life.

The VS DNA 30 doesn't regulate down. None of the evolv DNA 30 devices do. I don't know if the clouper does.

I have a first gen that still works. I cut the tank ring off and put a Fat Daddy spring loaded connector on it. Works pretty good with a Fogger as long as I don't build too low ohms. I don't use it as much as I used to but it still chugs. Must have pretty solid electronics.

I have non Clouper Hana clone and it does the Evolv splash screen. If you put it in stealth mode, it wakes up with a "Stealth Mode" splash screen but it fires quicker.

It's okay to clean it. Just keep track of all the pieces. I hope the shop that set it up cleaned it prior to building it. Mine came with an oily film on it. Scrubbed it with a toothbrush and dawn dish detergent. You will definitely need to learn how to build coils. There are plenty of YT videos...
