My frustrating experience with this particular tank's leaking issues, after purchasing multiple these Kanger tanks. Made me try a different brand, Aspire Cleito. What a relief, it doesn't leak.
I thought that cleaning the drip tip was the only problem which created the back flow and leakage. But this Eleaf
TC tank is more trouble than it's worth. IMO, sometimes these new technical innovations i.e., temperature control is gimmick. So you can lay out more cash. Will put away or throw away.
Thanks for this discussion. It provided me with much needed information on how to handle the backup leakage with this TC tank. Since I remove the drip tip and clean it, wala! No more backup!
Is it possible that your nicotine mg is too high for this type of set up? I am certainly no expert but with the new sub ohm type attys that is a definite concern.
Please advise. The center post on my Vivi Novas are crooked. It practically leans against the plastic tube's side. I tried screwing and rescrewing  to no avail. It doesn't want to sit straight! Does not draw properly and of course leaks. Without thinking, I happen to order three more...
OMG! I just ran out of Applewood and can't reorder for over a week never mind the steeping time. I will survive, have other juices to use. Before they went on vacation, I made the mistake of ordering a lot of Backo when I already had plenty. Forgot to order my depleted supply of Applewood.
I thought Applewood was exclusively a Backwoods Brew blend. Maybe I will try your fav Applewood and you should definitely try Backwood Brews Applewood. It is a delicious blend of tobacco and apple.
Been meaning to give my response to this post's rating on VapeRite Organic VR4. Smelled and tasted like freshly mowed grass or awful weed, even after steeping. Threw it out.
I will try to clean a couple over the weekend the way you stated. When all else fails, I can always drip. Anyways, I am very grateful that I haven't picked up an analog in 8 1/2 months and thanks to this forum, I know that I am in the right place. :vapor:
I have been in a quandary about cleaning the attys. I believe that dry burn would be the best solution along with some sort of soaking method. When I finally remove the bridge more times than not, the wick is either shredded, dissolved, disappeared. How can I dry burn without removing the...
I am totally a fangirl of BWB. I've been exclusively vapping Don's juices for some months now. My favs are: RV4, Applewood, Backo and Casablanca in that order.
Ultimately, I ordered a couple of new attys. Eventually, I am going to try to salvage the ones that I spoke about in my last reply to this thread. I did some more investigation on the subject of atty cleaning and one of the tried and true ways was to remove the wick base and dry burn the coil...
I used this method on most of my ego tank attys and unfortunately they hardly worked after I followed the directions as stated. I did it again the next day, using more vinegar to make sure that there was no baking soda stuck inside. Ran it under hot water and blew out the excess water. I have...
LibertyFlights using the 20% off. The batteries that I purchased from them have lasted me a long time. I have 4 batteries that I charge and rotate throughout the week. Prefer 900 mAh ego xl batteries for their longevity.
Before I was aware of this forum, late 2010, I did purchase the "free trial" kind. This "bat and switch" marketing technique is used not only by e-cig companies but if you notice on TV commercials etc. they promote "free trial" all over the place.
