Syringe or weight, best way to measure?

it's whatever makes you happy and you feel most comfortable with. Some people swear by eyeballing syringes, others swear by looking at a readout on a scale. For me, weighing is consistent, repeatable, accurate as hell and just all around easier.

What drove you to DIY juice crafting?

I had one juice that I absolutely loved... it went out of stock and I was never able to find anything else that I liked as much. When they finally got it back in stock, it wasn't anything at all like it was originally... after that, it was the constant fretting when I got low and losing about...

Mixing by Weight - Are You ??

I bought about a dozen glass droppers to dispense things that didn't come with a drip tip or dropper... For my PG & VG, I have lab squeeze bottles. The glass droppers clean up easily with hot water...

Mixing by Weight - Are You ??

Just to add to the conversation... I don't mix for others, this is all purely for my own use. All I truly care about is consistency of the flavor of my mix, and the ease of making and cleaning up. All 3 of which were more than worth the $95 investment. One of the problems that led me to mixing...

Mixing by Weight - Are You ??

My scale http://www.tmart.com/300g-x-0.001g-B...e_p152567.html $95... dead nuts accurate every time I drop my calibration weight on it. 300g max weight... Since I typically mix 15 or 30ml bottles... sometimes 120's, it's perfect for my uses

Mixing by Weight - Are You ??

frustrating wasn't the right word.. lol I have my Nic (PG based), PG and VG all set to their stated g/ml based upon their densities. While I could calculate out the individual densities of every flavor I own, I choose not to because I really can't tell the difference between .0xg of anything...

Mixing by Weight - Are You ??

I started with syringes, etc... but almost immediately went to weighing. Started with a small scale from Amazon to see if I would like doing it this way and within a week, graduated to this scale: http://www.tmart.com/300g-x-0.001g-B3003T-Electronic-Balance-Laboratory-Scale-White_p152567.html...

    Inaccurate Syringes - Buyer Beware

The key is hotrod calculator to start with. There are a few other threads that discuss the weight per ml that you plug into the program.

    Inaccurate Syringes - Buyer Beware

I tried a few inexpensive scales from Amazon and they were fine except they wouldn't handle more than a small bottle.. I ended up going with this one and it was worth every single penny. http://www.tmart.com/300g-x-0.001g-B3003T-Electronic-Balance-Laboratory-Scale-White_p152567.html I choose...

    Best brand of weighing scales?

I spent a month dealing with syringes, counting drops and all the other stuff. I found it ridiculous trying to measure and clean all that stuff and didn't enjoy DIY at all. Switching to a scale made it a pleasure and easy. A scale, a handful of droppers and a couple of squeeze bottles is all I...

    Best brand of weighing scales?

I found that I prefer a scale with a resolution of .001g as I can see individual drops much better. Without spending a mint, I went with this scale http://m.tmart.com/300g-x-0.001g-B3003T-Electronic-Balance-Laboratory-Scale-White_p152567.html When plugged in, it doesn't do an auto shutoff...

    Measure by weight, not ml

    Measure by weight, not ml

for me, it's quick, easy and dead on every time.. Best thing about it is that I need nothing special to dispense... a few droppers and 2 squeeze bottles for VG/PG... no syringes, faded or taped over syringe markings or eye balling anything... doesn't matter what kind of bottle or dropper built...

Russian Bakers Flavors Reviews & Discussion

As a follow up... Ordered on 7/25, shipped on 7/27, arrived at the post office here in Illinois on 9/8, finally delivered on 9/10.. Is your DYI juice as good as premium/boutique/gourmet juice?

Yes... I make what I want, when I want, the way I want. I can tweak and play to my hearts content and I actually vape almost everything I make. If it's repulsive, I can throw it away and not feel like I lost much of anything. Everything is gained. Especially my freedom.
