AW ICR123 Protected - Different Voltages at cutoff

:) Its my favorite device ever...and I've owned quite a few. Protected style batteries will fit and they'll work. Its just not the best idea if you're drawing heavy current.

AW ICR123 Protected - Different Voltages at cutoff

Thanks switched. I think I'll stick with the 16350 IMR high drain batteries instead. The 1.8 ohm coil has been working great with nice warm vapor. The AW protected ICR123 is only rated for 1.5C so I think that was my mistake.

AW ICR123 Protected - Different Voltages at cutoff

I'll be more clear. Yes I'm stacking batteries in theis mod. It's a Smok Woo... it's 5v regulated so when I stack 3.7v batteries it comes out to about 5.75v (on the multimeter) I have a 1.8 ohm eVod tank on it. It might be to much of a load for the ICR batteries. When I use the IMR high drain...

AW ICR123 Protected - Different Voltages at cutoff

I could use some help. I just started using AW ICR123 Protected batteries in my 5v Mod (mod limits to 5v) with a 1.8ohm Atty. I'm pretty sure I tripped the protection circuit on one of them. I took out the batteries and one reads 3.28v and the other reads 2.98v which I was shocked about bec...

    Which Charger for CR123

What charger do people use to charge their AW CR123 batteries? I have the 3.7v cr123 batteries that I usually charge with the WF-188 charger but it only takes my batteries up to 4.01 max I think something might be wrong with the charger. Does anyone have a preferred charger for these type of...

Thanks a ton for this! I just spent way too long reading but I'm super excited at the prospect of using a wick that doesn't need a blow torch to prepare.

So much NEW at Clouds of Vapor!

ok I have one on the way. Just to let y'all know I've been using the rubber drip tip from COV and I love it for this reason: Delrin drip tips will expand when they're hot. If you're dripping and the atty is getting warm its almost impossible to pull out the delrin drip tip bec it expands. This...

    OFFICIAL AvidVaper.com HH.357 discussion thread - Part 2

In my experience gunk on the coil will bring the resistance down. Over-zealously trying to clean the coils could also lead you to have two coil wraps touching which would understandably bring your resistance down.
