Looks like I was right. It was the batteries. I got my new batteries today and gave them a charge. Proteus has been vaping like a champ all day. Makes me even more excited for a VIR adapter for Esterigon then I can use my favorite atomizer with it!

Imeo while I more excited about esterigon adapter for vir maybe a dual 14500 tube for proteus would be good as well. That should greatly increase battery life.

I can on Tuesday when my new batteries arrive if that doesn't fix the issue. I really think it is just because the batteries were old. They had never been used but I think I bought them almost 2 years ago and they sat in my vape shelf waiting for Proteus.

Try removing the air control ring and see if that helps. I am using a Penny V3 and there is much less airflow then I like but I do get some. But not any less then when I put the Penny on anything else.

Proteus has arrived. Unfortunately the batteries I had must be bad because after detection I get orange light for 3 seconds then it won't let me do anything (lock change settings ect) So hopefully new batteries will resolve the problem. It is much smaller in person than in pictures imho. Also...

Looks like Imeo already answered this but this is exactly what I was thinking about. Larger size should hopefully be cheaper to produce it also might allow Imeo to add the features he had to remove. Additionally I think that a larger battery size would be more popular.

That depends on your definition of need. It was designed to have just enough room to grip the MP when it is closed. And with your juice control open you should be ok. Unfortunately I was unable to get one when they were available but that was the idea.
