GGTS Clone/CCST/Chi Chi Show and Tell

Wow, the brass looks great. Gotta get one, it'l be cool to mix and match with chrome, too.

looking for a simple 14500 mod

Too bad the apex alpha from innovapor is discontinued. Pull the RES and replace with a slim carto-tank, and you've got about the slimmest, lightest, low-hassle 14500 I've found. Wish more folks would do chrome over aluminum mods. ETA: If the atomizer threads on the alpha line were made of...

    18350 Mech Mod?

Got a CCTS, Natural, and a gripper this week. So far, I like the CCTS over the Natural. With my preferred carto tank, the gripper looks weird but weighs next to nothing--the button is nice, too. Though not a mechanical, it is light, cheap, and, with xl cartos, super-compact for an 18350. The...

SmokTech The Natural - New mechanical device

Most of the GG-ish mods are chrome over brass, and I believe I read something about one of the coops offering a brass-ish gold-plated model. Someone mentioned mixing it with a chrome to get the effect you are looking for. Since chrome over brass is cheaper than SS, with a little searching...

    Overwhelmed....

Aside from 4.8 volt bats, the only way I know to get high voltage in a tube mod without adding electronices is to stack batteries. Because of safety issues, this isn't recommended by many these days. Adding a fuse like a vapesafe or holocron(?) may make this less dangerous, but I'm not really...

    18350 Mech Mod?

Awesome. Was going to lay off purchases for a while, but it and a kick are sorely tempting.

    18350 Mech Mod?

Thanks, darkhood. it's kinda ironic for me nowadays, because I quite like the farm. FWIW, the tec mod/xcaliber looks like far more than twice the mod that the squire is, so I'd say it's good value. Will probably get one myself as the switch on the Natural is bit stiffer than I'd like. So...

    XCalibur Mech Mod

Searching youtube for tec mod telescope turned up a few results. Looks pretty sturdy at the button.

    18350 Mech Mod?

If I hadn't gotten a Natural yesterday and didn't have a ccts arriving today, I'd definitely pick up one of those 30 dollar tec telescopes. Aside from being better-looking than most, the bottom switch looks well protected from fall damage.

SmokTech The Natural - New mechanical device

It's a mechanical made for an 18350 or 18650 battery . These are mostly 3.7. You can, however, use an 18500 battery and a kick from evolve, to get VV in most any 18650 mechanical tube mod.

SmokTech The Natural - New mechanical device

One thing about this mod, it doesn't have any grooves for airflow along top rim. Also, it has a bit of a wobble at the atomizer connection, but this may be some sort of floating pin deal.

SmokTech The Natural - New mechanical device

Got mine in today. It's a flat-top too, with ring of engraved dots making a nice accent around the top. Frankly, it's a better looking mod than I was expecting.

EGO T MOD vs BOLT vs CHICHI

For almost two years, a 650 ego-t with a carto tank has been half of my go-anywhere vaping pair. Moving entirely to mechanical for improved durability, but I gotta admit egos have gotten the job done for me for a long time.

    Overwhelmed....

Other side of the coin, if rebuildables seem bit daunting, as they do for me, a kick with a simple carto tank seems to be a fairly versatile and low-hassle option.

    Overwhelmed....

I don't know if a kick works in a chuck, but, if so, VV would be a nice addition to a mod you already have--and at a reasonable price, too.

New design for the eGo-T mod?

Glad to see joyetech doing an 18350 tube mod, surprised at how competitively-priced it is in comparison to similar mods.

EGO T MOD vs BOLT vs CHICHI

Nice find. I've always like the longevity/durablity of joyetech bats over other ego types, with the exception of breaking 3 twists (button collapsed) two weeks ago. Since I get bounty hunter from litecig and dig the handiness of 18350, and given the price, I'll have to pick one of these up...

    18350 Mech Mod?

Anybody tried out these tec mod telescope/xcaliber mods? To me, they are way nicer-looking than a lot of the other budget telescope type mods. It'd be great to know a little more about the performance and durability, though.

    18350 Mech Mod?

There were some CCTSs for 29, but I don't know of any available right now. ETA: I believe they were chrome over brass, not SS, though. Xcalibur is probably the same, so not SS as I posted above.

    18350 Mech Mod?

For a pure mechanical mod, the xcalibur at smokerevolt is under 50 and SS. If you're just looking for a simple tube mod, they have the squire 18350 for 15. I don't know about the quality of these mods, just found them while searching along the same lines.
