It will work depending on which 3.0 software you have. it will either only work turned up to the safe voltage or it will let you turn it all the way to 100, but will only put out the safe voltage to fire up your coil.

the flat top batteries from all about vapor are a generic no name type battery, but have been working well with the device with no connection problems. they are shorter than the efest, vmax and aw 18350's. thank you drive through :0)
