Have 3 and none of them leaks nor snap the coils. I am not even being overly careful with my wicking or tightening the screws. As long as the tank is airtight and the wicks cover the juice channels sufficiently, I don't think it would leak. Tried using 32 gauge wires on one and 28 gauge wires...
Just noticed that the coil deck of the Billow v2 is removable/replaceable. Would anyone know if there are plans of Eciggity/Ehpro to provide a replacement deck with a Velocity style posts much like the one on the upcoming Cthulhu v2? Nothing else needs to change on the design. However a...
It probably did flood which is most likely the reason why he overtightened the glass tube breaking it as a result.

Finally got all my Billow v2 RTAs (all 3) since ordering them on the first week of May. Waited 2 full months and now they're here. :)
First impressions, they're awesome. Did not really have any issues coiling them. No clipping of the coil leads (even when I used a non-twisted 28 gauge on a...
Why? Because I'm nowhere close to North America. FT? Nope, GearBest ($29) and efun.top (got 2 for $22 each). Shipping was free but requires a ton of patience. Paid thru PayPal just in case they don't arrive after a couple of months (ordered first week of June).

Still waiting for my tanks to arrive (via slow boat from China) and forgot to order replacement glass tubes. However, I have a bunch of plastic tubes of different diameters that I can cut if I happen to break one. I know that the glass tube for the billow v2 is 23mm in outer diameter and 30mm in...
Found a Heatvape Sniper Review. Seems very innovative having a top airflow and top filling. I wonder how the coil and wick are built inside the coil head. The reviewer recommends it but for me, it is just too wide at 25mm.
Yes, you are correct. There is nothing much to an atomizer, a 510 connector, post or wires to hold the resistance wire, wick, insulation material, and a chamber. You could easily build something like this using a discarded cartomizer.
No tank is leak proof. The cabin pressure drops when the plane ascends causes an increase in the volume of air in the tank and displaces any liquid through any opening. You could prevent "leaking" by ensuring that a top coil tank is right side up or a bottom coil tank is upside down. A pressure...
PG is nothing, what you need to worry about is dihydrogen monoxide which is a major contaminant of e-liquids especially when you steep. Take care everyone.
Was just browsing through Reddit and found a post about fabricating an ego-510 adapter using the base of an ego-w f1 clearomizer and a 510-ego adapter.
Found an old sketch of mine from about a year ago.
Did not have the time, tools and resources to do anything with this then.
So, I'm just going to leave this here (for anyone willing to do anything with it) ...
While the coil was still on the needle, I pulled the legs into position using a pliers while I gripped on the coil using my finger nails to stop it from unwinding. The legs were not fully bent but I didn't remove the coil from the needle when I installed everything including the cotton. I just...
Wow. Just tried this and it's working great. Thanks BSD!
I've tried this configuration in the past couple of years but was always hampered by needing a single connection post to hold the top end of the coil. Tried using a stainless steel post on my home made atomizers and would wrap the...
