I have always tried to narrow down what I am looking at by deciding what features are the most important to me in the device and keep doing that until I find what suits my vaping needs best.
I have a 6 year old and a 1 year old and have always avoided vaping where they could come in contact with any of the vapor. I have no idea if there is any actual evidence of it being harmful or safe, but better safe than sorry. It really isn't all that hard to put forth a little extra effort...
I have had a bad habit of keeping my batteries plugged in almost all the time. After reading this thread I am going to change that and keep them unplugged when they don't need to be.
I was like that for the first couple months and then I turned into the exact opposite. Once my taste buds came back alive I couldn't stand the taste of the liquids I had been vaping. Now I am extremely picky about the taste.
My favorite time trying this was in an airport. Didn't turn out to be very stealth like though. Everyone was staring at me with that "OMG he's smoking in the airport" look.
I just hand my PV to my wife in the passenger seat and have her drip for me. I don't have any drive long enough without her that dripping before I start my truck won't last through as I live in the city with everything only a few minutes away.
Dripping is pretty much the only way I vape anymore. It is something that gets easier the longer you do it as you will become more attuned to the flavor and strength of the vape. I normally drip 3-4 drops and have no idea how many hits I get off of that as I have always just dripped more when...
I started with a KR808 and almost lasted 3 months but couldn't stand the flavor anymore. I started smoking again for about a year and then got a Prodigy V3.1 and have been at it for about 8 months and am extremely happy with it.
I was changing out transmission filters on my truck today. I took a break to vape for a few and came within millimeters of putting a transmission fluid soaked ratchet in my mouth. So glad I avoided that one.
I have gone through phases of researching constantly and every time I stop for a couple months or longer, I come back and am so far behind. Vaping keeps advancing so fast it can be hard to keep up with.
