    Guess I lied, maybe my pot is f'ed up is hot glue conductive? Now I can only do min and max so unloaded it is 3.70 or 6.70, loaded its 3.7 min and 5.5 max no in-between...

    I see, didn't know about stacking two 3.7v batts :) I used the lifepo and normal lithium 3v batts. I went ahead and bought smartvapes dual 18650 altoids vv so i might try this circuit one more time with duals.

    Does this look right? I can get only 5.2v now from stacked 3v batts freshly charged then its pretty much impossible to use any atty/carto

    well the most i can get it to do is 5.4v with freshly charged stacked 3.0v lifepo4 batts. on a lr 306 its works ok, but anything else its just doesn't give enough power to do anything before the chip wants to catch on fire its so hot. It does give off from 3.72-5.4v so i know the circuit works...

    Also, at radioshack or kings electroincs I can not find 390 or 200 ohm resistors are there any other types that can be used?

    Quick question? Do the colors on the resistors have any significance? I'm going to an electronics store nearby and just didn't know if the color patterns made a difference.

    I think I love you! Finally some pictures. Curious, why does madvapes sell the vv board kit with a 50k pot not a 1k? I can skip the LED right? just remove that res and the two wires?same with the on/off switch
