I've been making some repairable ce2s and I'm using the woven silica rope from mcmaster. It's awesome as a wick but I can't seem to get the weave bends out of it. Also, is there any way to twist the silica threads in a way that it stays twisted?

I just got a solid black vision grand. The draw is so stiff I can barely use it. Is this normal or does it clear up? Thanks, Greg
