Still have everything from the original ego, mechanical and tube mods through to current day unregulated and DNA mods. I just kept most everything as the advancements in design kept coming. 29 and counting. Only god knows how many differing atomizers. I just got rid of 4 Scubagen (by...
PA will be followed by other states. For me and I am sure others it is ironic... Before I went to vaping I had a 50 cigar humidor at work and a 600 cigar humidor at home... Had at least 2 cigars a day along with my cigarettes. Sold it all off after I got into vaping. It looks as if in the near...
PA just created a new black market for bootlegged vape products. The era of Prohibition has been mentioned before when the "Deeming" came out. Every current vape consumer will feel the same pressure... Back street "Speak Easy" comes to mind.
Every entity that is now profiting in illicit trade...
Well on the bright side... Since tobacco flavor looks to be the only one that will have any chance for PMTA approval (after a company has spent multiple millions)... We should have the best tobacco flavored liquids on the planet! Of course it will probably cost $90.00 per 30ml bottle at any...
This is the latest PMTA document from the FDA... May have been posted earlier...

Thanks... and there's sites like digikey.com for parts and modders. I built a few OKR T-10 mods exclusively from there plus numerous mechs, minus the 510 connections. Then there is always the question, where to source 510 connections in the future.
Talk about being being bombed back into the stone age. Thanks FDA you've done it! Everything designed and produced past 2007!? Back to the Ego stick and tiny atomizer with a crappy little coil. We'll have every vaper hobbyist with a lathe turning out 510 connections and atomizers for personal...
Thanks. I have no idea how long this will go before I need a charge. I have been vaping on it for 2 days now and it still shows a full charge. I imagine if I let it get down to 1/4 battery life it'll take at least a few hours to get it up to full again. :) But if I am at the computer I can vape...
So I took the original Hammond 1590B lid and dremeled out to the inside stops and slid it in under the BAP lid and had enough room to put in 26650 Batteries. All is well now. All I need to do is tape off the BAP lid and repaint the box. Woo Hoo! Its a hefty unit but for around the house and at...
Yeah I have noted that the18650s really do great... much better than with a DNA30. But I may make a 3mm spacer to get the 26650s in. Love the temp control with the nickel wire.
So I ordered a Bap lid for the 1590B hammond that would take dual 26650 Batts. This was not a tested lid and I was the 1st to order it and try it out. Attached is a picture. I used his buttons directly on the DNA40 board and also used a dual26650 cradle that is sold from Shapeways.
The only...
From Evolv: High temperature insulation is preferred.
I am not positive... Does speaker wire have high temperature insulation?
Edit:
I checked around and you can go on Ebay and enter "TXL Automotive Wiring" you can get 150' or so of differing color multi stranded hi-temp wire (just about any...
Whew, probably the most consistent vape i've had off of Scubabatdan's G-Tank US & the Russian 91. I've always stuck with Mechs. But in the last couple of months did a couple of T-10s which are great but I didn't put a screen on them so I never quite know where I am vaping. Its by 'feel', ya...
Well I got my Shapeways Cradle and got it built. Changed the layout of the unit a bit by wiring the Pos wiring from the bats along the sides of the casement and under the circuitboard of the charging unit (lots of space under there) and moved the board down further to have room to put stuff up top.
Yeah... I start out with a belt sander (80 grit belt) to take off the majority of the material. But its easy to get carried away with with it. Then go to finer grits by hand... Always paint though. Did you buff and polish that one? Could we get a pic of the "innards"?
Great ... I have a Reo and looked at the beryllium copper strip and delrin pieces that they installed. It is simple and quite adequate. I built a few bottom fed boxes and used one of the 48v 2amp rated dome switches in them. Built one for a friend and he says when he went to .3 ohms on his...
