What i have always done was used the faucet "sprayer" you use for cleaning dishes to shoot hot water in to my atty. It is almost like a hot water pick removing most surface particulates. For deep cleaning you can always boil. I would never use rubbing alcohol.

I must add this also goes for even simple e-cigs like the ego. I never put them in my pocket anymore because the ones i have are breaking at the seams near the button becuase of this. Always get a tether or a case for your e-cigs they are more delicate then they look.

The best way to find out is to test the battery using a multimeter. There is several possible problems here. he battery could be bad and needs replacing, the charger may not be charging and needs replacing, or the led is just gone wonky and you wont be able to tell if the batery is fully charged...
