So, I'm also back to report on my experience with the Tilemahos.
I completely stripped the atty, manually degreased all the parts with detergent, water and a fine toothbrush, ran it through the ultrasonic cleaner and finally give all the parts a wipe with a cloth soaked in isopropyl alcohol and...
I wasn't going to continue this, but...
I've seen what you've said over the years about titanium being safe because it's used in medical implants and that stainless steel is safe because we use it to cook with.
These statements, while perfectly true in the context of the those applications...
If the world's governments have their way, vaping as we know it won't exist this time next year!
The 'which metal is the safest' debate really doesn't interest me. It's all speculation anyway without proper research and I don't see any company yet that has achieved a medical approval on any...
Imeo, I'll agree with you that the very low resistance of nickel is indeed a problem. Measuring a change that's a percentage of a very small starting value, even if that percentage is quite large, is going to be quite hard compared to measuring a change in a larger resistance. I don't believe...
Imeo, I'm very puzzled by your comment about nickel not being "capable for serious Temp control".
Nickel has a much higher TCR than SS. The higher the TCR, the more accurate the temperature control will be as there will be a larger change in resistance for each degree of heat. Stainless steel...
Well, since I screwed the centre pin in hard, I've not seen any unexpected changes in resistance. I thought I'd done that this morning when I first had the trouble, but once I've vaped this tank dry, I'll strip everything down and make certain that nothing is at all loose.
I really want to get...
I have my centre pin screwed in all the way. The centre post on the Dicodes has a powerful spring and the mod itself is clean and relatively new. The resistance seems to have stabilised since this morning, but I'm at a loss to explain why it would drift in the first place.
The only thing I can...
So, I received my Tilemahos V2+ last Friday and it's a great looking atomiser with good flavour.
I have a problem though. I built mine with NiFe30 wire so that I can use it in temperature controlled mode on the Dicodes. Unfortunately, I'm seeing variations in resistance. My build was reporting...
I just love the 'Turbo' cartomisers that I have from Cloud 9 Vaping. Although they are only
single coil they wick really well and seem to be just perfect at 4.4 volts. (They have a 3 ohm
resistance.)
They certainly give loads more vapour than the eGo-T system that I started with and eat
through...
I quite agree Keeno, for the price, it serves my purposes well. I really don't need total stability at
6.0 volts.
I'm just interested to see if the rumours are true. Unless they have changed to a new chip, there
is not really any room for improvement.
I've been hearing that the new silver LavaTubes provide better regulation and/or more
current. I don't have a new one myself, mine is one of the original black ones.
Can anyone confirm or deny?
