My first rebuildable was a kayfun about a month ago and I just picked up a Smok Caterpillar last week. I love it! I think it's a good rba to get your feet wet with because it is super inexpensive. Check out some YouTube videos of people building coils on the Caterpillar and you should be good to...
I have a authentic Kayfun Lite and a Smok Caterpillar (which I love!) but I find myself wanting another RBA so I can have more flavors in the rotation without having to rewick every time. It needs to have a long enough 510 connection to work with my 4Nine...other than that, I'm open to just...
So within the last month I finally used my last carto/tank and bought a Kayfun and a few mech mods. Huge upgrade! Its fun building coils and the vapor is far superior and much more satisfying. On a whim the other day, I bought a Smoke Catapillar RDA because they are so cheap and I've never...
Ok, well I'm only half stupid.
The magnet in the 4Nine was facing the wrong direction :facepalm::facepalm:. Works perfectly now! Still no luck with the Paps though.
I saw that and had my eye on it. I'm just nervous to spend that much money on a mech without being able to test it out and make sure everything fits/works and that I like it. The mechs that I've purchased have all had tons of great reviews (even the clones) but none of them have really worked...
After my Stingray (which I had for 1 week) broke on me, I decided to order some other mods to use instead. So my GP Paps clone and 4Nine clone came in the mail today. Either I'm very, VERY stupid, or something about these mods isn't right. Can you guys help me?
4Nine: it fires but if I happen...
Nice avatar!
I wish every shop would allow you to customize your PG/VG ratio for every order. I know that would be a huge pain in the ..., but there are a lot of juices I never end up buying because they have more PG than I like.
Thanks! I'm contemplating checking out one of the B&M shops in town this weekend to look at other mods. I really would like to hold them and play with the switch a bit before purchasing. Will end up paying quite a bit more though, but no waiting for the mailman that way!
I'll have to examine...
I have a nipple top battery, but I'm afraid of screwing in my kayfun and causing a short. The center pin on the kayfun is probably 1mm or less longer than the outside threaded part, so it makes me a little nervous. I've heard it's a great mod though.
Ahh, thanks for the tip! Maybe I'll just relist it on eBay. I'm sure it's a great mod, I just don't think I'm at that skill level yet. I did end ordering a Gp Paps clone a few minutes ago, so hopefully that will work out well for me. I still have my Provari and my Silver Bullet (which I hadn't...
On Tuesday, my Stingray (clone) that I got the previous week broke. The bottom part no longer stays screwed into the tube. The threads on this mod are so tiny and now they will no longer hold the button and the battery/button will just randomly fall out.
Yesterday I was bidding on some mods on...
I'm happy to report that with a minute or two of the dremel with the sandpaper attachment, I'm happily vaping in 18650 mode! Thank you, everyone, for your help!
Thanks for the reply. After some additional research, I'm positive my battery is legitimate. I haven't been able to work on the mod yet as I'm still at work. What would you guys recommend to smooth it out? Sandpaper? Dremel? Metal file? it's on the inside of the tube so if it looks a little less...
Pretty sure I just found the problem. I connect all the tubes of the Stingray (18650 mode) and looked down through the center. Where the 18650 part of the tube connects, I can see a Ridge in the tube. Took the tube apart and sure enough, even the 18490 that was fitting in short mode, won't fit...
These pics you guys are posting look EXACLTY like my battery. Is there any other reason it wouldn't fit in the Stingray? Is there another option besides this battery? I don't plan on doing any sub-ohm vaping, as I'm plenty satisfied with 1.4 on my Kayfun Lite. I just want something that fits...
It very well could be I guess. I only knew about that site because someone on here recommended it as a good source for the battery. I'm just nervous to buy another VTC5 and have it not fit as well. My 18490 is over a year old but has not been used very often. Do you think it is still safe (using...
