    GAME CHANGER

Sad to report that it slowly died. We were great together. Looking back, though, I sense its purpose was fulfilled. I supported her through a very difficult time in her life, and thanks to her I still ~have~ a life. She also inspired my creativity.

    GAME CHANGER

By November of 2011, I'd been smoking cigarettes for 50 years. Lucky Strike, Marlboro, then Marlboro Light. Pack a day. And it was starting to take a toll on my body. Persistent cough. Ashen complexion. Decades ago, I tried using Nicorette lozenges to quit. Lasted all of two weeks. I was...

    Official ProVari 3 Thread - P3

I had the same question. Seemed that none of my 4 batteries measured up. So I consulted the P3 User Manual and read that IQ readings don't become relevant until you're vaping at 20 Watts. the highest I vape between 3.7 and 4.0 Volts (6.1 Watts).

    CARTOMIZERS: Just Don't do it...

Since I started Vaping in early January of 2012 (E-Power 14650, 3.7 V), I've experimented with several cartos from different vendors. - Boge 2.0. Great performance, until QC issues started popping up about a year ago. Haven't tried them since. - SmokTech single-coil LR (1.7 ohm)...

    CARTOMIZERS: Just Don't do it...

I'm with you, Yzer. My first kit, purchased on Jan 5, 2012, was an E-Power 14650. Suits me just fine. Started with Boge 2.0 cartos, until QC started to decline. Switched to Smoktech LR (1.7 ohm) cartos and was quite content. Recently switched to Kanger XL cartos, which have been my best...

    What are YOU vaping?

Boge 510 2.0 and Smok Tech 1.7 cartos on an E-Power 14650. Casablanca Blend (24 mg) from Backwoods Brew and House Blend (24 mg) from Copper Creek mixed with 5-10 drops of various fruit flavors (Peach, Mango, Watermelon).

    Older Folks and Vaping

In Vaping, I've realized there is no One-Experience-Fits-All. That said, here's mine. I was a pack-a-day smoker (Marlboro, Marlboro Lights) for 55 years. For the past 10 years, I'd had persistent cough, shortness of breath when I exercised, lungs filling with fluid when I lay down at night to...

Anyone just NOT feel "so much better"

In Vaping, I've ralized there is no One-Experience-Fits-All. That said, here's mine. I was a pack-a-day smoker (Marlboro, Marlboro Lights) for 55 years. For the past 10 years, I had persistent cough, shortness of breath when I exercised, lungs filling with fluid when I lay down at night to...

    no boge cartos :(

VaperNewbie here (10 days). The 2.0 ohm XL cartos that came with my order work fine with the Dekang Tobaccos (24 mg). Am on my 3rd fill with all five. Ordered 2 packs of the Boge 2.0 ohm cartos from Liberty Flights, along with my first four 5ml bottles of flavored ejuice. Heavenly! Anyway...

    Craving Persists for Analogs

Thanks for the link, Echos. The replies to your post are quite similar to the posts to mine. Knowing that others have been where I am, and were successful (on their own terms), is really comforting. Especially since everyone's definition of "success" is different. After 7 days, I feel so...

    Craving Persists for Analogs

I think you hit on the key, MegaBee: finding a juice that tastes so good to you that you would prefer to taste that instead of a ciggy. When I do smoke one of my Marb Lights, it just tastes a lot smoother than the Dekang (tobacco flavor, 24mg nicotine). I feel I made the correct choice of...

    Craving Persists for Analogs

To all of who have basically told me: Lighten Up/Stop Judging Yourself ... thank you! In the past, experiments with Nicotine Patches had satisfied the nicotine craving. Figured that an e-cig would take care of the rest (something to hold, puff on, etc.) When that didn't happen, I judged myself.

    Craving Persists for Analogs

Thanks for replying! Pretty sure the nicotine level isn't a problem. Unless I'm writing on deadline (always a guaranteed Nic-Frenzy), I only take a hit from the e-sig every 10 minutes or so. That's probably why, for me, a single 2.0 ohm XL cartomizer lasts 2 whole days. Have to say I'd still...

    Craving Persists for Analogs

Thanks for replying, dormouse! I am so delighted with the number of thoughtful, caring people on ECF. It's a really supportive group. My setup: a mod-like E-power 14650 (3.7v), 6 inches long, a bit more than 1/2" in diameter. With 2.0 ohm blank LR cartomizers and the 1050 mAh batteries, it...

    Craving Persists for Analogs

Hi Folks, A Newbie Vaper here (one week) with a perplexing question: Why do I still crave analog cigs? Shouldn't the e-cig nicotine delivery system, plus the rituals (holding something in one's hand, inhaling/exhaling, etc.) eliminate all the physical and emotional desire for analogs? A...

    nicotine content

I love this Board! Was wondering about my experience, and planned to start a new thread ... and then I read The Mechanic's post. I'm a Newbie Vaper (one week of experience), so I don't have a lot to draw on. That said, I notice a definite throat hit and "peppery" taste. My setup: E-power...

    Reputable e-power suppliers

Ha! Tell me about it. I once owned a Jaguar XK140 roadster (1956). Between the Lucas electrical system, and the SU carburetors, I learned more about the vehicle than I wished. Sure was fun to drive, though :2cool:

    Reputable e-power suppliers

A week ago I ordered my first PV (the E-Power 14650, with blue LED switch)) from Hoosier Ecig Supply. Shipped the day I ordered, and arrived three days later via USPS Priority mail. Kit was complete, and components assembled easily (and yes, the Chinese-to-English translation is hilarious)...
