    Mine currently has a solid wick of #500 mesh that fills the wick hole. IIRC, it was about 72-75mm long. I rolled it as tight as humanly possible, but I ended cutting a couple of mm off the end of the roll so it would fit. Wicks like a monster & doesn't leak a drop. It can stay in the phone...

    Okay. Here ya go. This is the top spring from a Sigelei 19: You flip it over & thread it down over the existing spring. When it bottoms out against the metal plate, you're good to go. I'm still gonna try out the Chicago screw, but this was my quick fix to bring the voltage up.

    The conductivity comes from the center post. I've been recycling the little metal tip from old CE4s to use as my SS washer.

    I use ball point pen springs when I convert my gennys from double nut to spring capture. They come in a variety of lengths, but are easy to cut to the needed length.

    So the button is threaded into the 'floating' brass section & not press fit? I'd gotten down to the point where I wasn't sure whether to pull or twist the button. It didn't feel like it was going to unscrew.
