The ProVari is supposed to have a 3.5 Amp limit, but when I use a 1.9Ω atty I get an E2 error if I exceed 5.4 volts. According to the online Ohm's Law calculator 5.5V should only be 2.895 amps. 6V should only be 3.158 amps, below the stated limit. Any ideas? Problem with the board maybe?

I'm about to order my first Provari & I don't know if I need to order the extension cap & 18650s, or will the standard configuration with 18490s be adequate. I currently use eGo Twists & a MadVapes VV box mod. I generally vape ~3ml +/- daily @ 4.2-4.4 volts. Advice please? Thanks in advance!

I just received the vv box mod (#3235). I know it's made with a linear regulator, which results in excess heat, but is it supposed to get extremely hot on the outside of the box?
