2 months vaping 24 hrs smoke free!

Rojo, I definitely agree with you on having a spare. In addition to my Riva's I keep two Volt's in my truck as backup. Not taking any chances at this point. Also let me have a variety of flavors on hand in case I get bored with my daily vape.

2 months vaping 24 hrs smoke free!

I'm on day 13 since I gave up analogs! It is much easier to get through the day. Still have the few urges, mostly during trigger times (first thing in the morn, after meals etc), sometimes quite strong but just grab the Riva and no problem getting through them. I started with around 12mg and...

2 months vaping 24 hrs smoke free!

Not really anything to awful. I think because I cut down on the smokes before quitting that the withdrawal was much less pronounced. A few headaches off and on, of course coughing up the crap in my lungs, a bit unfocused one day but nothing like when I tried to quit in the past. Still getting...

2 months vaping 24 hrs smoke free!

8 days down, starting day 9! Mornings are one of the toughest times. There's always that half awake, half asleep urge that your not quite together enough to deal with. Keep the PVs charged and ready to go! First time in over 35 years I've been more than a week without a cig!

My first 24 hours without an analog!

Congrats, great work! I'm on day 6 myself, (http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/switching/277666-2-months-vaping-24-hrs-smoke-free.html) after 40 years of smoking this almost seems to easy. Sure there are urges but nothing that is remotely like any other quitting process I've tried ( and I've...

2 months vaping 24 hrs smoke free!

I've been trying all kinds of juices. I have been primarily carrying an RY4 mix of juice from two suppliers and a blueberry mix again of two supplier's juices. I have collected a small hoard from trying different vendors/flavors and have found to many with a perfume under-taste that I find...

2 months vaping 24 hrs smoke free!

I started out with a couple of Volts from Smokeless Image. I really liked the Volt and the feel was close to an analog. After a couple of weeks I added a pair of Riva's which have become my everyday PVs. I carry the Volt's as a backup and when I need something small to stash in a pocket. I still...

2 months vaping 24 hrs smoke free!

Well here we are. Day 5 draws to a close. A little tougher today, kind off a nagging urge on and off all day but I resisted and drove on by the local convenience store where I used to buy my smokes. The very fact that I was able to do that is testimony that vaping is working to keep the demons...

2 months vaping 24 hrs smoke free!

I hear you there. I've become very fond of a blueberry vape that's a combination of two vendors juices. That and RY4 are my all day vapes. Day 4 down! Felt really good today. Very pleased with my progress and not to much in the way of challenges. Been vaping a little heavier but as all of my...

2 months vaping 24 hrs smoke free!

Day 3 down! This one was a little tougher. No big "gotta have a smoke" moments but kind a like an underlying urge that would sneak up at times. Got my morning coffee at on the way to work and resisted the temptation to pick up a pack. Grabbed the Riva instead. I always keep a couple of flavors...

2 months vaping 24 hrs smoke free!

Goin on day 2 as a nonsmoker! Hard to believe I can use that term to describe myself after more than 30 years. Wish me luck!

2 months vaping 24 hrs smoke free!

Thanks guys. I think the biggest thing for me was the total lack of any pressure. I didn't enter into this with any feeling that I "had" to quit. Just read a bit on this forum and others and decided I'd try vaping. If I really wanted a smoke I had one, no guilt, no feelings of failure. After...

2 months vaping 24 hrs smoke free!

I started vaping about 2 months ago. As a 1 1/2 - 2 PAD smoker for over 30 years I was ready to try anything. No luck with the patch, gum, lozenges, welbutrin, you name it. I really liked smoking! After the first week of vaping I was down to around 12 analogs a day. Wow somethings up here...

    Kudos for myPVshop

I've been vaping for about 2 months now. Cut down from 1 1/2 -2 PAD to around 5 or 6 analogs a day. I just received my second order from myPVshop today and placed a third. I have tried many of the vendors reccomended in the forums and myPVshop is my first go to choice. Outstanding service, super...

Trials and Tribulations of a newbie

Thanks everyone for the comments. I've been using the Riva all day with the clearomizer and have found it to be pretty nice. I'm thinking that the atomizer/cart route just isn't for me. i seem to spend more time topping them off and still getting burnt tasting hits after a bit. I need something...

Trials and Tribulations of a newbie

Thanks Forkeh. I will definitely keep that in mind when I get a replacement for the DOA. I am starting to think I will like the clearomizers or cartomizers over the atty/cart combo. The carts don't seem to last long and I have to keep refilling. So far the clearomizer has worked well, just...

Trials and Tribulations of a newbie

Hi folks. I've been lurking here for awhile and thought I'd share my experiences as a new vaper. I started out about a month and a half ago. pack and a half to 2 pack a day smoker for over 30 years, tired all the "quit" paraphernalia. Patches, inhalers, welbutrin, cold turkey you name it without...
