What would happen if I flipped the o-ring thingy upside down on my dual coil in my Aerotank?

Ok so your advice on lubing those areas before putting it all back together helped a little! I had about 50% less lost juice hanging around the base once I opened it up after a few hours. Not a complete fix, but its progress! I also checked to see if I could get a vacuum effect, and I can...

What would happen if I flipped the o-ring thingy upside down on my dual coil in my Aerotank?

Thats a good question on if the tank is air tight...how does one "draw a vacuum" on it? I carefully followed your advice about lubing the spots you listed and am currently vaping it. I'll open this sucker up in a few hours to see if that helped in any way and will report back with my results...

What would happen if I flipped the o-ring thingy upside down on my dual coil in my Aerotank?

it has leaked from the very beginning, yes. I have used 5 coils so far on it: 3 of the covered updated dual coils, and two of the older version of the dual coils (uncovered kind). I will try lubing all the sealed areas with a Q-tip.good tip. After inspection, the base o-ring and threads dont...

What would happen if I flipped the o-ring thingy upside down on my dual coil in my Aerotank?

pufZeppelin THANK YOU. Everything you wrote makes sense. I HAVE been through several coils...and since I read all these threads about how to deal with leaks ive been careful not to over-tighten...so I think I could indeed have a faulty base, which sucks because I only bought this tank a little...

What would happen if I flipped the o-ring thingy upside down on my dual coil in my Aerotank?

I cant take the leaking. Ive tried everything, including reading all the threads from the past year on here regarding leaking issues in the aerotanks! It all in the base area, and luckily it hasn't gotten bad enough to flood through the airholes, but that's probably because I am paranoid and...

Leaks in the base of my Kanger Aerotank Mow- I've read how to fix it, but still need clarification

Ok so ive read enough threads to understand that the Aerotanks do this. I'm not tech savvy enough AT ALL to rebuild anything but I've read a few older posts from 2014 that if you take the o-ring from the older version of the Kanger single coils and put that on top of the o-ring that's already...

Kanger upgraded dual coils- should I get the kind with 4 short holes, or 2 long holes?

That makes a lot of sense. I dont rebuild yet, im trying to get up the courage to try soon. I feel like the 4 holes will give me a more even juice flow, so I'm leaning towards those at this point ;)

Thanks Robino1. I didn't know about the cross posting sorry!

Kanger upgraded dual coils- should I get the kind with 4 short holes, or 2 long holes?

I see that with the Kanger upgraded dual coils you can either get 2 long holes (one on each side), or 4 shorter holes (2 on each side). Has anyone tried both styles and if so which one did you prefer?

Has anyone tried both? Just wondering if one style trumps the other....

Is the only difference in the Kanger Aerotank, Aerotank Mow and Gentitank the width and volume capacity?

Ready to buy an Aerotank but I cant afford to buy a new battery too. I know that many of the aerotanks look great with the Vision Spinner 2 1600 mah battery, but all I have is a few of the 1300 mah versions...so for now ZI want to get an aerotank that will not look totally ridiculous on my 1300...

Taking the plunge! I'm ready to start re-building my coils....I think

I love my Aro and evod tanks (I use carto tanks too) and we're short on cash right now while I search for a new day job, so I figured now is a good time to start learning how to rebuild the coils I use in my Aros/evods. I tend to buy the 1.8 or 2.2 ohm basic coils from kanger, havent tried the...

noticed an interesting connection in "dud" cartos

My apologies if I'm not using the right technical language! So I was let go from my job in December and although we're ok with the bills and paying for my Type one diabetes supplies (getting unemployment, working on my nonprofit while I search for a new job) we're on a strict budget for...

Least likely to leak with temp changes?

I live in MN. The land of bitter freezing cold, heat and humidty, and everything in between. My best friend has a ton of health issues and seems to think my vaping makes her allergies worse (I don't think this is true, but I love her, so am trying to respect her) so when we hang out I'll have to...

Finally buying an Aerotank- what kind of upgraded coil should I get?

Normally I use 1.8 or 2.2 on the old school coils for my Aro tanks and my Mt3s...I have no idea what is comparable to that with these new coils. Also, I can get the coils covered up with holes...or like the ones I am used to using on my other clearos....any advice on what works best?
