I always found it difficult to smoke when I had a cold/flu, so I would chew nicotine gum instead. It's the same for me with vaping. My lungs (apparently) don't want anything but air in them when they're not feeling well. :)

I've used EM, but find that it doesn't sweeten as much as I like with some juices. I bought a 30ml bottle of 'Sweetener' made by Signature Arts, and it definitely does the job for me. I use about 1 drop per 5ml, so 30ml should last a while.
