Nice! I was thinking about using one of the springs from a pen too, but my concern was if it had less resistance than my coil, it could cause problems. I am currently using a 22mm kanthal coil, and most pen springs are much smaller in diameter.

Yes, it can be used, but you have to unscrew the airflow screw until it touches the inside piece. That is what I am doing now, but I wan tto be able to tighten up the draw.

I have a Kayfun V4, and I really like it alot for MTL. The problem I have is the spring has lost its springiness, and will not longer function properly. Does anyone know where I can get the updated (gold plated) spring for it in the United States?

I am running the same head on my TFV4, and agree, the base does get hot quick. Keep in mind you are essentially heating up six coils, so the heat has to go somewhere. I haven't had an issue from it, but agreed, it is the hottest I have used on it thus far.

Kayfun v4 on an Ego One Mega battery / Smok TFV4 on the Punisher Cuboid Kayfun is used at my desk at work for stealth, and the TFV4 is my cloud maker for outside.

I think it may hang over the Cuboid on the back side. I have a TFV4 on mine and it is 22mm. It has just about 1mm left until flush, so a 25mm tanks would be just over the edge. The sides would be fine, though.

My opinion - that sounds like a solder point or wire is not connected properly. The only thing that is bugging me from what you said is the point about what happens when you push on the battery door. Can you verify there is enough tension on the battery contacts?

Sorry, never really stated the wattage. On the RTA (Kayfun v4) I use a .35 ohm coil, and I run at about 35-40 watts on my MVP Pro 3. On the RDA (Plume Veil), I use a .5 ohm coil, and use it with a Ego One Mega battery, so not sure of the actual wattage.
