    New tank from Joyetech: Ultimo

Does any1 happen to know of ceramic heads that don't leak and produce equal flavour to these? Was kinda eyeing Herakles Pro, but if you happen to know any other please tell. No going back to regular heads, I rather tolerate some leaking than muffled flavour.

OBS Engine RTA... or is it an RDTA?

Haven't ordered yet, need to wait some feedback first. Was thinking to set on up like any RDTA (for example Avocados),

OBS Engine RTA... or is it an RDTA?

Have you tried what Rip said on his first impressions? He used long wicks, touching the bottom of the tank, to eliminate the spitback.

Help - Pico Kit Causing Immediate Problems (HOT TANK + COUGHING)

It's YOU. Firstly ceramic atomizer heads DO get hot, it's the nature of the beast. Secondly Melo3 is more of a lunghit tank meaning if you try to mtl you DO get harash hits. Also the third thing is you just quit, sure as hell it's gonna make you cough.

Flash-e-Vapor V2 rba by Artur Schwarze

Back in the days we used solid mesh wicks in our gennies (I kinda dislike calling ones like Avocado "genesis style"), but with FeV solid meshs don't work quite so well. Capillary sumthin doesn't seem to work as well when liquid comes from top.

    New tank from Joyetech: Ultimo

Even after all me rambling this is still the tank to get, if you are after a good vape in category "less than 100 watts". Smok is still king of the hill, but for ones not wanting to have 100ml of juice and fistfull of batteries along Ultimo is the right choice.

    New tank from Joyetech: Ultimo

Well damn, yet another leaker! This one does only leak a bit if I fill her up while she's hot, but this flaw wasn't there in the begining. Must be cotton slowly going bad or something though I DO vape 15-20 mls a day.

Flash-e-Vapor V2 rba by Artur Schwarze

One thing 'bout feeders though, too big of an hole causes leaking, DON'T wrap yar mesh around "green" blunt needle.

    New tank from Joyetech: Ultimo

Sulplise, sulplise, my second ceramic head has behaved nicely for the past couple of days! Maybe the leaking is indeed a QC-issue.

Is there such a thing as a leak-proof squonk system?

Sure they leak, if there is too much liquid in the atty so that it doesn't get absorbed into filler. As others have said just vape it dry, tc-coils help here if you're new with rda's and can't quite figure out from the vape when your atty is dry.

Flash-e-Vapor V2 rba by Artur Schwarze

I personally wouldn't bother with thicker wires, the airflow isn't airy enough to keep em cool enough. Fev's are echoes from the days past when biggest U had was .32.

    New tank from Joyetech: Ultimo

With 60 watts can't chainvape @60 watts with me old Evic VT, device starts to cut off simply because it gets too hot!:D Not the mod, but the atty.

    New tank from Joyetech: Ultimo

I really think you SHOULDN'T dry burn notches. Since the heating part is made of SS (must kinda be, don't think there are other notches) it produces some bad stuff when heated glowing unless you dip it into water. Or so was I told 'bout stainless steel as an heating element.

    New tank from Joyetech: Ultimo

Yeah, the QCS-atties aren't for me. The flavour is good, but you need to crank em up to 60+ watts to get anything out of em. With single 18650-mods kills the battery way too fast. Back to trying the ceramics.

    dripbox

It's kinda funny, but for the past month I've mostly been using Kangers Subdrips with me Subdrips. Yeah, ain't the best airflow, but it doesn't leak as easily as say Tsunami24 and is way more easy to squonk right than say Velocity2. Starting to think you simply can't get an good atty if it's a...

    dripbox

Stopped using mine also, it simply doesn't produce enough vapor & flavour to my liking when compaired to regulated mods unless one wants to build silly (less than .15) builds. Lets just hope Dripbox 2 or maybe Wraith lands to the barren soils o Finland since anything with two of more batteries...

    New tank from Joyetech: Ultimo

After me earlier rant I decided to give Ultimo second chance ordering 5-packs of notch and ceramics. When you think of the numbers one shouldn't judge a tank after only trying one head. Also will be going 90% VG with this one, my 50/50 might be too thin for 50+ watts.

    What Happened?

Evolution in vaping gear happened leaving many, who tried to make a HUGE profit by getting all the unicorns, with stuff costing hundreds that nobody wants. Loving the irony, but sad about the fact many a modders has stopped doing their thing. The wheel, however, IS slowly turning and with TPD...

preparing for the upcoming vape "apocalypse"

Yeah well we all buy things that fit our vaping style. For me Radius is far better option than a HUGE Dripbox160. Kinda hate this current trend of big mods & 25 mm atties. Oh and I wouldn't be speaking of "needs of current vapers" while same time excluding something out.
