How to make a flavor less "candy-ish"?

I'm doing fairly well mixing single flavors (yay me!), but I'm wondering how to make the flavor less candy-ish. I'm using Flavor Arts - black cherry, blackberry, etc and they are very nice but I'd prefer a bit less of a candy taste and more of a fruit taste. Is there something I can add to make...

Are oils completely out of the question or is there a way to work with them?

Wondering if oils can be used at all. In the lists I see the oils are referenced as "not water soluble". Does that mean unusable in ejuice? I'm wondering specifically about peppermint, lemon and tangerine. Can they be dissolved in PGA and then added to juice maybe?

    What is that plastic taste?

I'm using an eGo 1100 with Boge 2.0 ohm cartomizers and every so often I'm getting a taste that can only be described as plastic. It doesn't taste burnt, and the cart is newly filled. What is causing this and how do I make it stop?

    Another new vaper saying "hi"

Hi everyone. Another newbie here, from Charleston, SC. Longtime analog smoker (30+ years) who managed to quit analogs the day she picked up an e-cig (gas station quality, no less). Today I finally made a decision, went to the ECIG Charleston retail store and picked up an eGo 1100. It is so much...
