Attack on UK vapers by TW

Popping in after a long absence to say that I'm sad about these developments. My money won't go towards paying for litigation against a public forum.

Propylene glycol causes respiratory tract infections? What a .....! Unfortunately this is deadly serious :(

    RN4062 review

Ah, my recent dead attys had serial numbers as well, so they must have been 4062s. Running a dry cartridge is excellent advice: I'm going to try that with one of my old, trusty attys which have become clogged but still work. I'm mainly using a stick as well these days, but I like my cigars in...

    RN4062 review

How are you doing with the e-cigar now? I was very impressed with my RN 4062 starter packs initially, but the replacement atomisers I've ordered (no idea which make) have been nothing but trouble. Within the past ten days I've had two that were dead out of the box and one that burned out after...

    Uk E-Cigs

Attys are very variable. The penstyle atty in my Jantystick has been with me for many months and shows no sign of dying, but I had others burn out in a week. Always have a spare or two to hand. As for performance, I need a stronger battery so I use the Jantystick (box mod-type) or electronic...

    UK Vapefest, interested?

Definitely interested, but it must be cheap to get to. Perhaps we could have local events? I could do London on a Saturday.

Ok are we safe or not, is the question?

Reputable suppliers regularly batch-test their liquids. I don't know about the USA, but I've had good experience with e-cigs, Totally Wicked and Liberty Flights, all of whom have US partners. LF also has a good DIY range (unflavoured liquids/base/flavourings). We can do some things to keep...

Travel and Vaping Vaping on a plane?

I take my Janty stick anywhere. It looks nothing like a cigarette and so far nobody has made the connection (many ask me where I got that tiny 'phone' from!) Don't let the vapour be seen and there should be no trouble at all.

UK Regulation of E-Cigs - Petition

Don't bombard the poor guy with mail! Seriously, what has he ever done to offend us? If we want to keep specialists on our side, it's best to treat them politely. Who wants their inbox overflowing and their personal/business/student mail drowned out?

UK Regulation of E-Cigs - Petition

That petition is open to UK citizens and residents. An important distinction: as an EU citizen resident in the UK, I'm eligible to sign petitions here! I'm off to do that now ;)

    paypal

Once again I'm having problems ordering. I can't do it from my desktop machine (I forgot) and now I have to dig out my password and try from the downstairs (secure Linux) machine, by which time my bank has undoubtedly blocked my card yet again. Honestly, if anybody would sell me cigar...

All sorted now, thanks Simon! I think I'll place my future orders by phone :D

    paypal

Sadly I couldn't place my order. For some arcane reasons, my bank asked me to enter my password for what is clearly not my username. I eventually changed the password, only to be presented with a black box.

That black sheep exchange just served as a reminder why I don't hang out on this forum any more... Interesting info otherwise :)

    E Cigars (*sigh*)

Well, that's in the US... I'm about to cast caution aside and order from China, but after my experience with customs, I'm not quite desperate enough yet. Just started on my penultimate Golden Shimmer atomiser. It's nice, but at this rate I'll be out by Christmas

OMG My Ecigar almost burned up

Also happens with brand new atomisers, sometimes as soon as you push the LED down. Never carry the RN4062 around with the battery inside!

    E Cigars (*sigh*)

I love my RN-4062 in its many incarnations, but I have yet to make an atomiser last longer than about 4 weeks. Not that this is bad, but the things tend to run cold without notice. Definite pluses: big cartridges, cheap rechargeable batteries, good performance (while it lasts). Minuses: limited...

    Janty Stick vs Ego

What's happening, you're not closing shop (I hope)? I'm asking because I want to order a stick for hubby's early Christmas present. Since I've been using the stick in public I haven't once been challenged by irate non-smokers—nobody makes the connection to any sort of smoking device! And I'm...

    Cigar atomisers (RN4062)

The electronic cigar remains my favourite vaping device, but the cost of the atomisers doesn't make it a cheap option. So far I have not managed to clean my old atomisers properly, and they don't deliver enough drag so I've come to terms with having to replace them perhaps once a month. Does...

Janty Stick V2 owners - weigh in

I'm happy with the JS2 so far. It takes the standard USB cable from my MP3 player, my spare generic penstyle attys and my e-cigar batteries :) I still prefer the e-cigar for home use, but the JS is more sturdy and great for travel and gives a nice hit. But I second the advice about tightening...
